Sometimes you go off the beaten track and you find a little gem. This is a great little restaurant with surveys Mexican food. ( I’m no expert on Mexican food). Lots of choices. Food was fresh and flavourful. The meat was so tender. Service was lovely. I really enjoyed this place.

Two stars because our waitress was very sweet. Visited here 9Feb23. When our salsa bowls were brought out to us, they were both filthy. They had dried, hard food still in them. I ordered the Alfonso dip, and when I started to mix it, all of this (pictured) pooled up at the top of the bowl. The meat was still pink, and all of it was cold. My husband ordered enchiladas and the meat inside of his was pink and cold as well. As soon as our food was brought out and we looked it over, we got our ticket, which somehow ended up being over $30 his (2) enchiladas, Alfonso dip, and two drinks – and we left.

Great food and service. Authentic tacos for $1.00!! They are NICE and big… And taste delicious. We had the Nachos and were very good as well…but I would just order more tacos and would be perfectly happy with them as a meal. Great service too.

I would eat here again. Staff is not super friendly, at all. Food was good (your typical Mexican restaurant in the south) menu has the same items nearly all Mex. Restaurants do, so nothing extra special about this place. It is in a strip mall, small interior but clean. It won’t knock your socks off but you will like it and come back.

We went for taco 2/22/22 Tuesday and National margarita day! They presently surprised me! Great drinks, amazing food, terrific price, super nice, and a wonderful environment!! Also, check out this real fruit pineapple margarita and the MargaRona! Sooo goooddd!!

I’ve eaten at Alfonso’s before and have enjoyed it. I tried to order from El Mexico tonight only because it’s closer to my house. I had such a poor experience I decided I’d rather go where I know I will be happy. Alfonso’s took great care of me and my to-go order. I will never make the mistake of trying for convenience over quality again when it comes to my take out order. Thank you Alfonso’s Mexican Restaurant!
