Went to dinner with friends on Friday, 5/6/16 and had a spectacular experience start to finish. The appetizers, entrees, service and wine were all excellent!! We had the spicy Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer and they were divine!! All the entrees were excellent (the chef even came to our table to go over the menu), and the service was outstanding. Perhaps the best prepared restaurant meal I’ve had in in months, can’t wait to go back!!!

Did a Bourbon Tasting of our own there. The bartender was very informative and accommodating. We ordered 8-2oz tastes and she split them up for us. Very nice. I like the chill rail too. Haven’t tried the food yet

An amazing place! If you are looking for a downtown dining experience but wished there was something on this side of town, this is your spot! A great whisky selection, incredibly creative food, and a lovely space. Give it a try! I would recommend the Sunday brunch, as it was so awesome and served as a 3 course meal.

First time. Not at all what we expected for the location. Modern decor. Exceptional service. The classic old fashion cocktail…. Not sure I’d order that again. Very different from the Wisconsin old fashion. The grilled salmon and filet were delicious. The light up menu was awesome!!! We’ll definitely be back.

Visited Bistro Z for the first time last night. The decor is chic and comfortable. Cocktails were excellent – have to recommend The Draper! We had the Salmon and Crab Stuffed Lemon Sole. Both were tasty with the Sole being just a bit better – perfect crisp sear, creative with intense flavors. Our server, Lea, was helpful, friendly and paced the meal well. Thanks Lea! Bistro Z is a perfect date night destination in the area. We look forward to our next visit – anxious to try some of the tempting Happy Hour specials.

Very disappointed with our experience last night. Went with two couples and arrived just after 6pm. We learned upon arriving the restaurant now accepts reservations for smaller parties – not knowing this we were put on a wait list for 1.5 hours. Thankfully there was a 4 person table available in the bar so we enjoyed our wait there sampling a variety of drinks and appetizers. Upon being seated in the dining room, the 4 of us ordered our entrees looking forward to the meal as we all enjoyed our appetizers. Sadly, we were all disappointed in the quality of the entrees based on the price. The lamb was over sauced and very gamey – not the medium rare chop implied on the menu. The other meals within our group were also over sauced and very salty. Needless to say we were expecting better. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

I had brunch here on Sunday and took my mother out. This was our first time eating here and we were very impressed! The decor was amazing and the food was OUTSTANDING and our service was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! The Lake Country area is very lucky to have Bistro Z!

Hands down one of me and my husband’s favorite restaurants! We’ve come here for two anniversaries now and the staff always goes above and beyond to make us feel special the whole time we are there! Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the decor is neat and we love the atmosphere! This is definitely our favorite spot for special occasions!

The food is amazing! The service impeccable. The presentation is beautiful. The chef smokes meats on site, I think they make their own ice cream too. This restaurant is delicious, check it out before everyone finds out about it.
