Workers were great and so was the food! Brisket was excellent! The atmosphere was nice I loved the decor in the restaurant as well. Pretty decent sized menu and everything we ordered was good (ribs, brisket, Mac n cheese, collards, hush puppies). They have an array of house made BBQ sauces that were delicious too.

Today we sought out a new bbq place & after utilizing google we found Pungo Boys BBQ and of course, we looked at the reviews… all of the reviews for this dining establishment were great and… THEY ARE 100% CORRECT! The sauces and sausages are all made in house & taste great! My boyfriend got the smoked sausage platter and I got a pulled chicken BBQ sandwich. The food was mouth watering, truly one of the best BBQ places I’ve been to in a while. If you’re searching for some feel good food, go give them a visit! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They have seating inside and a few tables outside as well.

We ordered a delivery order of pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket mac n cheese, beans, and sauces for a party at Little Island Park. Bill gave me the amount of each we needed based on 50 guests and was spot on. Great customer service, beyond delicious food, nice and clean packaging… wonderful all around!

First time trying this place and I was highly satisfied! I purchased pork barbecue sandwich and 1 rib. Price was high ($24.00) At first I was l like that’s very expensive. When I ate the sandwich and the rib. I was like this is so worth it! Even let my 2 sons try too because they said that was expensive. Me being a business owner( Grant’s Ride Clean) I had to explain to them its not about the price in life , it’s about the experience! The customer service was good from when I walked to the door and after I stated they where expensive. Long story short we’ll worth their price!

I can’t remember the last time I had a half inch slice of brisket be so tender! It literally was falling apart in my sandwich. Not only was it tender it was juicy and not dry at all. A great Google find today and one I’ll definitely be going back to for local amazing BBQ!

We tried the Pungo Boys BBQ while on vacation and oh my was it good! I had stalked them on their FB page and knew what I thought I wanted. But when we got there it was hard to choose. The lady told me to come around the counter and the guy in the back started to pull out trays of cooked meat for me to see how big they were and to help me choose. We thought that was awesome! I just had to try a Dino rib and it was great. We also had brisket, pulled pork and burnt ends. The sides were mac and cheese, coleslaw and cucumber salad. Guys the meat was excellent and worth a second trip back for it. But that cucumber salad was the most awesomest thing I had while on vacation! The mixture of the herbs, tomatoes and cucumbers was amazing. The sides are also personal size as far as I am concerned and if this is all your having get the larger sizes of sides. Great food and great people!
