The food was very good as was staff but the air conditioner was up so high and blowing right on us. The men were even freezing….deflecting the air would be a plus. I wouldn’t choose to go inside to eat again in the summer.

Sebastian was an excellent server, the new menu is shorter but it also makes it a little easier to make a decision. The Liquid Marijuana mixed drink is excellent and so is the table side guacamole. Let lose and have a little fun and ask for Sebastian

The few times I went it was so good, the meat was perfect. I went today and I saw they change the name. I was hoping that was the only thing that change, but anyways the food is different it has little flavor, I had fajitas and too much charcoal on my food, made it taste so burnt, the horchata was good, but I came for the food and the server were very nice too.

This is was our second time here and the first time was awful. The only reason we came back was because the name had changed and so we thought maybe this was a New Mexican restaurant that replaced la fagota. However it was not. My pollo fundido was very bland and my husbands carne asada tacos were full of fat pieces to the point he filled entire tortilla back up with all the fat leftover. The menu is very limited compared to other Mexican places around and the prices are very high! They are charging almost double what you can get elsewhere for half the price. Also I am not sure what is wrong with the air conditioner but both times we ate here it was uncomfortably hot. You are better off going to one of the many other places around. I also got a single shot of tequila and it cost 6.50 where it usually only costs 3-4! I LOVE Mexican restaurants and I’m sorry but this just isn’t it!

This restaurant used to be called La Fogata and has recently changed it’s name to Nixtamal. We were told it’s under new management. We used to love the queso, but it’s now thin and flavorless; a watered down version of the original. Their refried beans were also watered down, cold and flavorless. Our lunch wasn’t any better-poor quality food all the way around. The music was so loud we couldn’t hear what our server was saying. We asked for it to be turned down a bit, but our request was ignored. We will not be returning.

Great food, great pricing, even better service! The young lady was super helpful. Checked on us enough but not too much. Just how I like it. We had a food so quick and everything was fresh. The margarita was Perfect! Must go again. I managed a get a quick snap of my food before eating it all, check it out.

I’ll be honest about the fact I don’t sit down to eat in places anymore. I get take out and the cheese dip on point. My kids love the soft tacos I am big fan of the chicken enchiladas. My wife get a variety of thing each time. Sometimes se share fajitas. I am simple when I go out. The ppl their are nice and always name off everything in my bag. They have never missed an item. I enjoy having this. So I feel that it not a bad place to go grab a bite to eat

We definitely would not recommend this place. The food left a lot to be desired. It’s hard to really say except for it lacked flavor and we should have heeded the warnings of other reviews. Very disappointing.
