First visit but impressed. The dining room behind the bar with the booths very cozy and handy for the wait staff, who was very personable and attentive. Our breakfasts pretty good. Prices typical. Food prepared fast, hot. Our orders were for biscuits and country gravy with over medium eggs. I would have preferred sausage gravy but not offered. Meat-lovers breakfast burrito with potatoes sausage only wrapped in a curiously tough tortilla.

This place is a gem! The food (chicken and veggies, bacon ranch pizza) was delicious and worth every penny. I should have taken a picture, but I was too hungry to wait. The lemon cake was the true star, though. Light and sweet but not overly sugary. I wish I had brought a whole cake home!

Great little place. Clean and nice atmosphere, good service and varied menu. I had the croissant egg sandwich which was OK except the croissant was microwaved which made it soggy and lifeless. It would have been great if they popped it in a 350 oven for 8 minutes to bring out the flakiness. That’s a big ask in Caliente, NV. My wife had the cheese and mushroom omelet and said it was very good.

We enjoyed this place for a quick lunch. Turkey sandwiches were good as where the beers. They even had a porter! The service was top notch. The waitress was delightful and knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely return.

What an unexpected delight. When you hit a small town diner on a road trip your expectations are not high. But Side Track was great. The food was creative and delicious, the atmosphere bright and fresh, the service excellent.

What a wonderful spot! We ordered three of the personal pizzas to take on the road. They were hot and delicious. It wasn’t fast, but that’s totally ok. It was all made fresh. The person at the counter was so warm and friendly and shared a lot about the area. Highly recommend!

I have eaten there before and enjoyed it. This time, we never sat down. We came in at closing time in a town with less than 1000 people and you would think they would love the opportunity for a party of 12. We were in town for a special event and they closed at 8 pm which was as soon as we could get there. Thank goodness the Knotty Pine restaurant stepped up and helped us and fed us well. Bummer. We at at Knotty Pine the next two nights because they wanted our business.

We had 12 riders on this day. Rode bikes from St George through Caliente. Great ride, but best part was eating lunch at the Side Track Restaurant. Great service, great food! We all loved it. Will be back!
