This is a family owned Thai food restaurant near Universal Studios Hollywood. We came here right after visiting Universal Studios and from my experience the food is good. We ordered multiple items on the menu. We got Pad See You, Pad Thai, Thai BBQ, Combination Gala fried rice, Panang Curry and the Calamari. The food is good with good flavor. I do recommend coming here if you are craving Thai food after walking all day at Universal it is less than 10 minutes away.

There is no way that we go on a vacation and not try their local Thai restaurant. After a long hike to the Hollywood sign, we were tired and hungry and Gala Thai was the closest option. We visited LA in November when it was cold so their Tom yum soup hit all the right spots. Small Thai establishments are my favorite and never disappoint.

Brilliant food. Came here after visiting the Hollywood sign. One of the best Thai restaurants and pretty reasonable too . Had yellow curry , pineapple fried rice , coconut shrimp , fried wontons, Tom yum soup and steamed gyoza. All of them were amazing! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a chill Thai place to eat at

Our favorite restaurant to eat at, especially after hiking to the Hollywood Sign via Innsdale Tralhead. The soups are the bomb and service is quick. We usually get to go, however the restaurant is big enough to accommodate a large group if you make a reservation.
