The Rivers and Rails Tavern Menu – Dillsboro, NC

Type : Restaurant

Location : Dillsboro, NC

Fresh is always best! Hand made burger patties, handmade sauces…handmade everything! Full disclosure, we do not make bread or ketchup. We had to stop somehwere 😉 Everything else is our own! And we have something for everyone. From Florida? The Cubano will truly make your mouth water. Love fried Catfish? The Cajun Cornmeal Crusted Catfish sandwich will be your go-to! Sushi Fan? Ahi Poke Tacos are a hit! Sauces? Yes. Spicy kinda gal or guy? Definitely. Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free? More than you may believe! Food is our specialty! We also do scratch cocktails pretty well if you might have guessed. Check out the full bar!

This is a small restaurant with a great welcoming stuff. I had fish and chips that I like. On the other hand, my mother had classic cheeseburger.

Came here on a work trip. Played a couple games of pool and felt very welcomed by the bar tender Erica, she has the best personality and will definitely return next time I am in the area.

Food was good and our server was friendly! I got the sour cream and cheddar drop biscuits and gravy; the biscuits were delicious!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch out on patio. Service was great. The beignets were amazing! This was our first visit. We will definitely be back.

The beer they suggested was excellent, fish was very good, the fries weren’t anything special. Just frozen out of a bag. Most of the staff was very easy on the eyes and everyone was super friendly. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area and hopefully arrive by train again.

Hiding by the river away from the main road & downtown Dillsboro area, this little gem proving excellent food, beverages & a place to relax.

Restaurant has a great atmosphere, our waitress Taylor was fantastic. We started with the braised beef nachos which were awesome. Beer was ice cold. 2 of us had French Dip sandwich one with garlic Parmesan, truffle fries, mine was with regular fries. Ours was great. The other 2 had the catfish sandwich and both were disappointed with their sandwich. It was very thin and not much to it. I’m over all impressed we will go back and try it again.

The chicken sandwich was pretty good. Not out of this world, but pretty good.

We stopped in because they were pet friendly. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our dog. We will definitely make this a regular stop when we are in town. Our breakfast was great and would recommend this lovely place.
