We recently visited this steakhouse for the first time too celebrate a birthday, and unfortunately we were left relatively unimpressed. The service was 5 star, without question. Everyone was very professional and prompt.

We chose this location for a fine experience, celebrating a college graduation. It was simply passable. The waitress did a great job attending to us and explaining the menu. The dishes did not create the spark we were looking for. I ordered a medium rare cajun ribeye. It was medium well, just a piece of meat on a plate, no aesthetic pleasure for this $67 dish. The same level of execution was noticeable throughout other dishes, nothing to be excited about. No one walked away feeling impressed, all was just “ok.” Maybe that’s all we should have expected.

I have read the reviews over the years and always wondered whether to give Morton’s a chance to prove the critics wrong. Well, yesterday my family decided to take me to Morton’s for Father’s Day and almost immediately I could tell that the poor reviews were true. The restuarant was half empty and people did not seem to be enjoying themselves or the meals. There were no smiling faces and the vibe was blah. The decor is nice but the backgroud music selection is meh because there was no consistency with the genres. They played everything and it doesn’t work.

This place was very beautiful. The ambience gets a 5 star however the food was a tad bit bland. The portions were pretty good but the seasoning was very scarce. The waitress was really attentive and nice as well.

We came on a Tuesday night to celebrate my wife’s birthday and has a nice touch the restaurant pre-printed the menu with her name and happy birthday. The restaurant was fairly empty being a Tuesday night on a back to school week so I guess most people were preoccupied with other commitments so we got high degree of the service. All aspects of the meal are fantastic and Sunday dessert was huge and delicious we could barely eat a fraction of it. Morton’s is worth going out on a special occasion or when you just want to have a great steak and a great environment

This place needs to just shut down for about a month and regroup. We were very excited to dine here for the very first time, for a friend’s birthday dinner. The downstairs bar area was noticeably warm, but we chalked it up to being next to the entrance. Once we got upstairs to our table, the heat became absolutely unbearable for a party of 8. It was then that we were told the AC was not working, which should have been disclosed prior to the reservation date/time. As for the food, I ordered a medium NY strip and was served a well-done steak instead. Vegetables were not seasoned well at all, very lackluster. Lobster Mac and cheese was dry and just not appetizing at all. There were two orders of sides that just never came at all. The only beacon of light was our kind server. He was very friendly despite the conditions he had to work under and handled all of our complaints with a smile. Would not recommend this restaurant at all in the near future.

I showed up with my wife and son after a soccer game, just having a taste for Mortons. They have a dress code but sat use in the bar area. We were good. Food was great service was fantastic. Bread pudding was crazy.

I usually eat at Mortons 2 to 3 times a year. But on this occasion the experience was below par. I made reservations for a Saturday, July 22 for 7:45pm. I called that Saturday around 7:00 pm to confirm. I was told everything was good and everything was set. We arrived and was seated. We noticed that it was noticeably hot in the restaurant. I mentioned it to waitress. We were informed that the a/c had been out for about an hour but that they were working on it. We looked around, some patrons were fanning, others were drinking lots of water, and others were asking about the a/c. It was hot enough that I rolled up my sleeves and my date started fanning with the menu. We could have turned around and walked out but I had made reservations and wanted to honor my part . We immediately ordered something to drinks and ordered our food. As the evening progressed we ate…and drank because the a/c was never fixed while we were there. So we finished our meal and the waitress brought our tab. I asked if they were going to discount anything off the meal or drinks since it was extremely hot in the restaurant. She stated that she couldn’t. I asked to see the manager and they reiterated what the waitress said. I was extremely disappointed. I’m normally I big tipper, but in that instance I did not give a big tip, I gave only 10% of the meal price. My issue is that they could have told me that the a/c was out when I called to confirm reservation time and secondly they could have discounted something since we stayed and dined through the experience. When dining at Morton’s we not only pay for the food but for the customer service and ambience also. The food was ok but the customer and ambience was sub par because of the heat and lack of empathy.

NY strip was superb. Perfect sear and perfect cook on my steak. All sides shared were made fresh with quality ingredients. First time having creme brulee and it did not disappoint.

Morton’s is the BEST fine dining steakhouse experience you can get. Took my wife here for Valentine’s Day dinner and it did not disappoint. Had flowers delivered there before we arrived and they had them already at our table waiting on us. The service was second to none. It made for a magical evening for my wife and I.
