My wife and I took my dad there for his 88th birthday. Simply put, this is by far the best restaurant in town and every single thing we had was delicious! The servers are “seasoned” and quite professional, polite and accommodating. Such a wonderful change from servers at other places that have bad attitudes. The atmosphere is cozy and it is actually possible to have a conversation! I had a fresh, wild caught salmon that was the best I have had in years. My father had colossal shrimp and he said it was excellent. My wife had the chicken and mashed potatoes and she kept remarking how delicious everything was! We plan to return in just a few days.

We were staying at, sadly, the now-closed Gray Horse Inn B&B, and needed a place for a late dinner. Not much was open, but the innkeeper pointed us toward this tiny little place, so we went. We were the only ones there, as it was near closing time. We nearly left when we saw the prices on the menu, thinking that this little whistle-stop had a pretty high opinion of itself. Boy, were we wrong! We had one of the best meals of our lives, worth every penny and then some! It’s been close to 20 years, and I can still remember how that pork tenderloin tasted – wonderful! So glad to see that Chef Tom Kee is still there, surprising unsuspecting diners with his wonderful food. We hope to get back, someday.

Food and service were excellent. Love their Eggs Benedict with great tasting Hollandaise Sauce. Only criticism is the unusual choice of rock background music for a Sunday brunch. Maybe the only public station they could get. Doesn’t fit with the atmosphere. But I will continue to go back again and again.

Visited under recommendation of a friend. The poached eggs on Benedict were divine, perfectly poached and runny true to form. Got takeout Italian Meat pizza….superb! Cool small town setting. Liked at brunch, and sure to revisit.

They were so nice to get us a table without a reservation, The service was great and the Food was really good too! We both got specials, a glass of wine and dessert! Highly recommend dining here!

Service was good, staff was very friendly. The outside porch was very nice, and mostly shaded come afternoon. Ordered the large strip, and it was a lot of steak. Overcooked a little, but good flavor. Side and bread was great.

Cutest little old timey home converted into a restaurant in the middle of the plains. Virginia. Immediately greeted and seated with a reservation, drinks and appetizer quickly following. Main courses ordered and arrived very timely. All the food was delicious, all the service was amazing, and it was a cozy little atmosphere.
