The highlight of dinner at Daisies is definitely the staff. Good menu suggestions and very personable. The beet agnolotti was good with a balanced sweetness. The squash and sweet corn pasta was over salted and had a lot of heartiness that didn’t work well during the summer season. Definitely won’t be a regular stop for us but wasn’t a disappointment either. 3.6/5

Came for opening night of the new space! The restaurant is beautiful. The service is friendly and the menu has so many options that it was hard to choose! Go with people that want to share so you can taste lots of things! We had the onion dip – sounds ordinary but this was outstanding! The chips are homemade and perfectly crisp and salty. We had the fritto misto – I loved the tarragon sauce and the variety in the fried foods – especially the goat cheese cheese curds. The potted carrots were interesting – i loved the fried gnocchi but wished the carrots has a smoother texture. The burrata with anchovies was my least favorite of the apps. The mushroom papardelle was delicious but the star of the show was the lamb shank! The desserts were incredible – highly recommend the monkey bread. The ice creams – especially the white coffee is some of the best I’ve had. Be prepared, as they disclose, to pay a 25% service charge – as someone in the industry, I’m glad to see that this support health insurance, but this is still pretty high. When your server explains they “only” get 10%, that makes you feel obligated to tip extra on top. All in all we had a great meal and I’m looking forward to coming back!

This place is just ok. The portions are pretty good now, and the space is lovely. It was really uncomfortable getting a reservation – the person I asked about it at the front door was curt about it, and the person on the phone was rude. You can’t modify your rez online and they make you pay a deposit per person. The food was good, but it’s not exceptional. We liked the pastas and the drinks, but not the protein (don’t order salmon collars). We also over ordered and it would have been nice to have been advised on that. They did give me a little birthday cake – not yummy but a sweet gesture. Automatic 25% tip.

Celebrated Fathers Day with wife and kids. Lot of vegan and vegetarian options and kid friendly options. Cannot go wrong with the menu and our waitress was so nice with the suggestions. The plate sizing was perfect and delicious.

We ordered so many different dishes to try and had a wonderful dinner. The real standouts for me that I thought were better here than anywhere else I’ve had them were the mushroom, artichoke heart, and cheese curd Frito Misto, which is fried to perfection with the most perfect light batter and it’s not oily at all. The Black Truffle Ravioli is the most delicious pasta dish I’ve ever had. The pasta was perfectly toothsome with a pillowy filling and a delicious sauce. The Perogi with plump mild sweet mussels was also amazing because mussels can have a range of flavors and these were as perfect as I always hope mussels to be. Also, everything we tried on the dessert menu was best in class, especially the Strawberry Panna Cotta and the herby Caramel Semifreddo. Service was warm, capable, and paced just right. All of the drinks we tried were made with fresh ingredients and innovative touches, like fresh turmeric or cardamom. Our favorites were the Mushroom Martini and the Paloma.

Went to the new location opening weekend and was very impressed with the new space. Food is just as good it always is and the new items we had were excellent. Looking forward to when they have the tasting menu and to try the cafe/pastries

Walked in at 7pm on a Saturday and was able to get a high top table near the bar. Loved the dessert menu with $4 options to have a little bit of each! The gooey butter cake was delicious

I bought their pappardelle at the Logan Square Farmer’s Market. I cooked for 5 min and added a homemade Alfredo sauce to go with it (melt 1/4 cup butter on low, add 1 Cup Heavy Cream and simmer for 5 min. Add garlic and 1 1/2 cups of Parmesan cheese until melted). Super quick and easy! Delicious and wonderful texture. Next time I want to eat at your restaurant!!!
