We had an online order, and selected the 18″ pie since the picture displayed pepperoni, that’s what we wanted and ordered. Come to find out the 18″ pie doesn’t include pepperoni, the picture was just misleading.

Toppings appear to just be piled on, but the issue was the pizza is effectively just raw and barely cooked. As a premium local place that costs more than major brands or even build your own franchises, I’m shocked at the incredibly poor attention to detail that a basically uncooked pizza would be served. I try to buy local but with the price I expect a similar quality to momo’s or decent pizza.

One of my favorite places to eat lunch. I order take-out from this location on a weekly basis. I love their pizza and their garlic knots. My food is always hot and ready when I arrive, I’ve never had to wait. The staff is extremely kind to me no matter how many questions and or requests I have for them. Their weekday lunch specials are reasonably priced under $10 and filling. They have a unique menu w, and while a specialty pizza can set you back a couple of bucks, it’s worth it!

We decided to finally try Gaines Street Pies. With the creative topping combinations, we were excited to try a specialty pizza. Using the website to order was a little confusing due to the different descriptions of the items. The pizza we ordered was apparently a pizza with no type of sauce on it, but I did not see that in the description. We did not enjoy the pizza because of that issue (just a personal preference). Maybe another pizza will be better? I will say that when we asked for a replacement topping on a specialty pizza it was done correctly without extra charge. We ordered the speciality pizza that had sausage, cream cheese, and candied jalapeños (switched out the sausage). The delivery was quick. The pizza options were unique and creative. For the size of the pizza, it was a little pricey. The cream cheese on the pizza was different and delicious! Overall, we may not order again because the item description did not explain everything. For the price, we do not want another surprise.

Spent almost $100 on 2 pizzas, 2 salads, and 2 knots + delivery. They got our order wrong and the pizzas were barely topped, dry, and completely cold. When we called, the person on the phone sighed and seemed annoyed by us for asking about the order mix-up. We were refunded on the 1 wrong pizza and a knots for our time, but the whole order was pretty sorry. This is the 3rd time we’ve had an off experience and the low quality of this location is incomparable to the consistently decent original Gaines location.
