I have wanted to try your sandwiches for a while now, so today was a great day for it during lunch. I ordered the pastrami sandwich. That came with pickle and house made chips. The chips are delicious. The pastrami sandwich on rye was great but a little too salty. The rye bread was delicious. The portions are exactly right (for me) and for others I would go above and beyond to say it is generous. All in all this is a solid sandwich shop that I will definitely try again. Maybe I’ll go for the corned beef next time.

Despite it being prime time for dinner, we were the only folks who ate at a table. While gambling appears to be the primary driver, Ms. Trish and I dug our grub. I went with the pastrami and she rocked a corned beef. We thought the rye bread was great from a texture, taste and density standpoint. Trish thought the corned beef had great flavor and moisture and thought the same of my pastrami.

Great little sandwich shop! I tried the Ruben. Loved it! Very sizeable. Came with a side of what seemed like homemade chips. Very tasty. It was $14. I can’t wait to come back and try the beef!

One of the best Reubens around. They are generous with the corned beef but ask for extra krout and thousand island and you won’t be disappointed. The homemade chips are great. And the Togo box is very sturdy and we’ll done.

I asked if they military discount. They stated no but proceeded to almost give it to me. I dont want a free lunch just like to see good small business care about there veterans. Thanks for letting me understand that people care for those who put there life on the line. Awesome food.

I’ve had much better corned beef. But I grew up in Skokie & Rogers Park and have grown up eating and worked at some old school deli’s. This doesn’t cut the mustard Was very pricey. If I ever go back, I would have the grilled cheese.

You get a lot of food. The potato chips are awesome. My daughter said that the Rueben was really good. My pastrami was very salty and I couldn’t taste the hot mustard. You get a lot of meat tho. We got 3 sandwiches and it cost $45.
