I love this place! Being a vegetarian I especially love their “Crispy Chicken” burger which contains no meat, and comes with a generous side of fries. The photos below were probably taken a year apart, and it does look like they might have used different buns both times, but the burgers are my default whenever I go to Rafael’s.

The hoagie sandwich and crispy fries were excellent. The service was a bit slow for only having a few customers at that time. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. I will certainly be returning!

The food is fairly good but to buy a soda to go it cost $2.71 and it’s what is considered a small anywhere else. I can go across the street to subway and get a soda that is much larger for half the price. On top of that I was given a real dirty look when I asked if she was sure about what I was charged. Not going back there.

Took my father, father in law, brother in law and husband here for a Fathers Day dinner. The ladies room was DISGUSTING. I literally had to clean it with the hand soap and paper towels to be able to use the toilet. We finished our meal, packed our left overs and were sitting chatting when a maggot began crawling out of the red pepper flake shaker that we had been using! We spoke to a very nice young lady who tried her very best to help resolve the situation by contacting the owners, however the male owner only wanted to offer us a discount! A discount on food we sprinkled maggot infused red peppers flakes on! The young lady called the female owner who agreed to give us a refund of our meals but would have to call us back the next day due to personal reasons going on at the time. Our names and numbers were taken. I have still not received a return phone call or refund despite having reached out to the restaurant again today. I understand personal things happen in people’s lives, but if you are running a business, good customer service is important. This establishment is lacking in MANY ways. HOW it is still running I can’t fathom. The young lady that was sympathetic and helpful was the only good experience about the place. Absolutely will never return and will continue to make sure friends and family do not visit this establishment either. Someone is going to get severely ill with the way it is run.

I love this place to eat! They have all kinds of food on their menu, from Mexican, American, to Italian and Greek. They’re working on a pizza buffet as well, although not sure when it’s going to happen. The only gripe about this place is it takes a while to get your food, but that’s only because they cook to order, so you always get your food nice and fresh! My wife usually gets a submarine sandwich and I usually get the chicken parmesan. Highly recommend.

Upon entering a strong feel of bleach filled the room.Under trained staff. Didn’t know what was on the menu. Got a gryo that tasted like rubber. Bathrooms dirty. As we were leaving, Looked down on pavement and what appeared to be vale that had apparently broken had toilet paper floating out onto driveway.

Came here for Father’s Day to enjoy a meal with my Father, husband, brother in law and family. My calzone was so greasy that it made the paper under it wet. It caused the paper to stick to the food and I ended up eating paper. I took that back when I realized it (I already wasn’t enjoying it anyway bc it was so greasy). The manager there was very nice about it and had the cooks make me a different dish. They brought that out and the chicken from the chicken parmesan looked like it was fried in very old oil. It was dark and tasted burnt and nasty. I just decided not to bother with the chicken anymore and ate the spaghetti. A few mins later a maggot was discovered in the red pepper flakes which several of us had used. We took it to the counter and the first lady just said sorry so we asked for the manager. She was very apologetic and professional. She called the owner who refused us a refund and only offered a discount. I had already had a bad experience with 2 dishes but this was on another level of disgusting! The manager got ahold of the other owner who did offer to refund us but could not refund the same day as she was not there for personal reasons. Understandable! Our names and numbers were taken but we still haven’t been called. No apology or refund from the owners as of yet. As you’ll see from 2 other recent reviews. Since they don’t seem to care about customer service or the fact that they have an unclean establishment, (I shutter to think of what’s in the kitchen if maggots are freely roaming the dining area) I am warning everyone not to eat here. I’m disgusted by not only the food and maggots but by the way it was handled! The only positive thing in that establishment was the manager. 5 stars to her and 0 for everything else.

The Italian cheese steak sandwich was nasty,it didn’t have mayo, no onions.the bell peppers wasn’t cooked the bread was hard as a rock, the fries tasted like they where cooked in old oil and I spent 82.00 there. The only thing I ate was half of my salad I ate half of my cheese steak the other went in the garbage same as my son. For the price of food take out I could have gone to a buffet and paid less for food that I could eat all of. My dog wouldn’t eat the cheese steak. The last time I ate there I got a piece of metal in my cheese steak so no more for me. I bought a total of four salads 2 Italian cheese steaks and a 3 price chicken strip plate still don’t no about it, 82.00 that’s a lot for that little bit.

We love the food here, but we were one of the first ones to come in and order. After, we were already seated and a whole group of employees from another establishment come in and order and they get their food way before us. About 30 minutes later the food still hasn’t come yet and we look around the room and EVERYONE already had their food when we were there before ALL of them. We went up to the register to check on our order and the man said that they work on the easiest orders first. We ordered two cheeseburgers. How hard is it to make a cheeseburger? In our opinions, it’s not fair that we have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for our food when WE were there first. That’s just unfair. Next time we’ll think twice about eating there again.
