Best Pizza place in the Cleveland area. No doubt. Every slice is savory. It’s just…so great. I try a new combination of build-it-yourself each time I visit. Keep in mind when coming: Parking is on the street, groups of 4 or more will likely wait a bit for a table, and prices aren’t cheap. You’re getting quality ingredients. Atmosphere is pure Cleveland.

I heard good things about their food, so I said, “Why not?” So I did a pickup order. Good old-fashioned pizza!!! You can tell it’s made with quality ingredients, unlike Papa johns or Pizza Hut. My pizza was smacking, lol!!! My mom really enjoyed it too and she’s really picking about pizza lol. It definitely surpassed my expectations. The salad was very fresh and homemade salad dressing was very good! They have a big menu, too, with other dishes, not just pizza. Really nice restaurant in my opinion. It’s super busy, and everybody was in there chowing down, lol! Now I’m not going lie, it’s kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for! Quality! I definitely want to try something else when I have an Italian craving.

The reviews don’t lie…Angelo’s is definitely worth the one hour wait. What’s great is they call you when they are ready for you. We ordered the breadsticks, bacon/cheese and a house special pizza both deep dish. The portions are great and filling. Everything was fairly priced. There is bar sitting as well as table sitting but the space is not stroller friendly if you have kids. Music was a little loud but enjoyable hits. No onsite parking but street parking is available for free. Will definitely be going back!

Waited over 10 minutes after being seated by the hostess before a waitress came to our table. Took our drink orders and put in an order for one person to eat chicken tenders/fries for dinner. The other people at our (total of 5) table ordered two pizza’s. 20-25 minutes later the waitress came back and brought the tenders and fries. Everyone else sat for at least another 10 minutes before the pizza came out which would have been nice to all eat together. We had to ask our waitress between the tenders and pizza if she was going to bring the drinks? She apologized and couldn’t believe she forgot.

Excellent pizza! The deep dish has a wonderful crispy texture and the toppings are plentiful. Parking is a challenge, as it is all around that area. Mondays are half-price pizza, so be prepared for long wait times. We were quoted 2 1/2 hours when we arrived at 6:30. We found seats at the bar right away, but I don’t think it would have actually been that long because there were open tables when we left. I’m sure I’ll be back, just not on a Monday! I’m not really an eat-at-the-bar type of person, so I’d like to take in the atmosphere of the restaurant.
