Place was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. Now I had something they called chicken franchise but it wasn’t but it was still really great. It white wine sauce with mushrooms and capers but was great and very juicy big portions of chicken. Also came with a side of pasta red sauce was very sweet and tasted good but I wanted one of their great desserts. I had the lemon cello cake and light and fluffy and tasted great not too heavy on the lemon. Would definitely go back again.

Best calamari I have ever had! Very tender and nice and spicy! My main course was the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were big and tender. I was happy to see the shrimp came cleaned! The sauce was nice and garlicky and not too heavy on the wine sauce. My wife enjoyed her meatball ricotta pizza, she subbed out the red sauce for garlic oil. The only two negative things I have to say is the bread is not fresh like most restaurants, it is sliced regular store bought. Also the mozzarella sticks were good flavor wise but they were obviously frozen because the cheese did not pull apart. It was more like a breaded string cheese stick. Mary was a great waitress! Overall, I enjoyed my experience.

I found the Chateau restaurant absolutely fantastic! I’ve gone there now a couple of times with die hard Italians. I’m 100%, cook very good And I know good food when I taste it! The service was absolutely phenomenal both times and I plan to go far more often. I was really thrilled with the service. The food was far better than I imagined. Truly it’s fresh food and done right. I have been hearing mixed reviews on The Chateau and I can tell you from a true Italian this is very good food!

Usually, the food is decent, not as good as the original Chateau in Waltham, but decent. Tonight, I had the worst meal from there. I had the Trio 6, which consists of stuffed shells, chicken parm and a meatball. The meatball was okay, but the chicken parm was very bland and tastes and looks as if it were pan-seared in burnt oil. The sauce was not at all their usual sauce (which I really like); it was very watery and bland. And the stuffed shells? Awful. Nice of them to spare a little stuffing – like a tablespoon of stuffing in giant, therefore mostly empty, shells. So disappointing.

Waiter was very friendly. All of the negative comments about the food were accurate. Bland, uninspired local chain food. Nothing prepared fresh. Didn’t eat much of it. Had the pick 3 – lasagna, chix parm and meatball. The red sauce was the worst. I think the breaded chicken mightve been frozen.

Very good Italian food. I had one of the trios and the toasted ravioli was absolutely amazing and I’ve never seen it before. Fantastic!! The chicken parm was good and the fettuccini alfredo was just okay. My wife had one of the trios with the meatball, which was also great! I definitely recommend it for a nice Italian meal out.

We’ve been going to The Chateau for over a decade now. We used to go to the location in Westborough as It was right down the street from where we lived. Since It’s closing, we’ve been to the Chateau less. However, whenever we have family gatherings, we go for The Chateau and make the drive to pickup.
