I finished placing my order at 7:01pm. Was told it’d be here 7:36pm. I have been sitting at my front window since 7:25pm to make sure I didn’t miss the delivery. It is now 8:08pm as I am typing this sentence and still no delivery. This location has a really bad history of being lazy and not having orders ready at the time promised. I used to order from this location every 1 or 2 weeks for years up until about 5 years ago because of their service. Now they’re lucky if I order 3x a year. I have personally stood in the restaurant watching employees mess around and argue and not even make food when my order was supposed to be ready then and they had numerous tickets hanging. Making me wait over 1.5hrs for carryout at one point. I managed a local pizza chain for 10 years. This is unacceptable. Whoever is managing this location needs retrained or a serious change in leadership needs considered. It is now 8:13pm and still no order. I am less than 3 mins away, less than 1 mile as the crow flies. And over $5 for a delivery fee is theft. When I managed general rule of thumb was the price of 1 gallon of gas was acceptable delivery fee. You are the #1 highest fee in the entire area, by far, not even close. Most places are around $3. That’s also why, while I know it’s not their fault or policy and having worked in the industry for years, I don’t tip your drivers nearly as well as other companies. Paying $5 for delivery less than 1 mile away, on a simple order mind you, large pep and 6 breadsticks, and being told 35 mins and now at 1hr20mins, over double the promised time. It is now 8:20pm.

This store has greatly improved over the last 3 years. They are doing a good job taking orders and having it ready for pick up on time. The pizza is good and they have not shorted the toppings.

They quote pickup times but are never even close. I love Donatos but this one is sooooo slow. Employees act like it shouldn’t be a surprise that they are always 20-30 min later than quoted. Why quote times If you’re that far off. 5 min maybe 10 min difference I would understand. Ownership needs to pay attention to all these reviews. You have a great product but need to step up your game with quote times.

I used to love donatos but the last several times I’ve ordered them it’s been a waste. Not sure what happened but tonight I figured I would give it one last chance. Waste of money way over priced. You can get a much better tasting pizza within a few hundred feet in all directions. Lower your prices you’re not that good anymore.

we placed an order at 12:12 pm and was quoted 40 min. After an hour we attempted to call the store for an ETA on our order since it was late. We spent about 30-40 min on hold just attempting to get ahold of someone. Our door dasher texted us and he had been waiting there forever, and our food was still not made over an hour after we had placed the order. After that, we just wanted a refund and called corporate since we couldn’t get ahold of this Amelia location at all and the food wasn’t even made. Come to find out, there was only one person working this location. Obviously it’s not the poor workers fault that they’re extremely swamped with no help, but they can’t operate and allow people to continue to place orders under these conditions. My food ended up coming and was hot, correct, and very delicious. But the entire process of getting the delivery was terrible and it’s not the poor single worker’s fault, more people have to be hired because you simply can’t continue to operate this way.

Ordered deliver at 18:34 it’s now 20:49 and our order still hasn’t shown up. When I try to call for a delivery status I’m put on hold for 10+ minutes or hung up on. I just want my money back. Never again!!

Customers are rude to employees. Employees are very apologetic for wait times being long. It seems that people want to point out what is wrong with the employees. I’m tired of watching people belittle the employees, especially when I see people running around trying to get everything done as quickly as they can. If you have a problem with the wait times, just remember that fast food isn’t any faster anymore.
