Damn…this sh*ts delicious… Mario was so kind in giving us extra portions as the day came to a close! The chicken legs were irresistible. For someone who doesn’t often enjoy the skin, I devoured it ALL. The meats were so well seasoned and the BBQ rub is divine. We are so excited to try out more of this food! Southern Pit BBQ is absolutely the best BBQ around. The meats have a wonderful smokey flavor, and the seasonings and sauce are the perfect complement to that great smoked flavor. The beans could be a meal on their own, just the best. And Mario is one of the nicest people you could ever want to meet. You definitely need to follow Southern Pit on Instagram so you can know which location he will be at. Oh, and his Junkyard Dog is out of this world, sweet and spicy, and maybe a bit addictive.

Just picked up the pulled pork plate with some ribs, my girl got the pulled pork sandwich. Let me tell you must try, this man bbq is great! Highly recommended must try! He also had great service great bbq vibe going on!

I’ve been looking for a favorite place for ribs near Denver since I moved here a few years ago and I found it today. Falling off the bone and delicious, honestly was better than some of the ribs I had in Memphis. 100% coming back to try the rest of the menu.

I grew up in Memphis, Tenn., and I love Memphis pit bbq. Out in here Colorado it’s almost impossible to find that taste, But a year or so ago I found it. Mario at Southern Pit BBQ. He’s up on Washington and 88th by the auto parts store. He has a great food truck/trailer and the best Memphis pit bbq this side of Memphis. I love the pulled pork sandwich. And like in Memphis, he puts the slaw on the sandwich. It is delicious. And I love his potato salad. Funny thing is, we also went to East High School. He’s a great guy. Give it a try. I think you’ll love it. I sure do.

Always thee best service, great individual that loves what he does and it shows everyday when he’s open! Great great food! Ribs off the charts, hotlink full of flavor and spice and bake beans and potatoe salad on point! Added bonus the music is always amazing, draws you into a great time and food!
