I had pork nachos without the bbq sauce, planning to add it myself. . Yum. It had melted cheese all over the pork and chips. So good it didn’t need bbq sauce. Great value for $8.99! If I didn’t live almost 200 miles away, I would be back. If I pass through again someday, I will stop in again.

After reviewing bbq joints all over the south east, I have to say this is one of my least favorite. The atmosphere was cold. Nobody took off their jackets when they came in. As you can see the meat on the sandwich was blender. I believe a filler was added. It had the consistency of a uncooked crab cake. The flavor was o.k but for the price just not what I would expected.

When they first opened l disliked everything I ordered. I am a BBQ connoisseur if I do say so myself. I decided to retry them after a few years, and the rib sandwich is off the hook good. The ribs are meaty, well seasoned, and tender. The serving size for a sandwich is huge. Depending on how hungry I am it will take me 2 attempts to finish. I get 1 or 2 rib sandwiches a week. They aren’t cheap but they are affordable. I haven’t gotten the nerve to try anything else. I wish I could give them 3.5 stars because their (good) customer is not consistent and because I still am skeptical about the rest of the food.

I absolutely love their barbecue pork sandwiches and a baked beans. So I’ll get off the regular sandwich and bought a Philly cheese. I didn’t want to fries cuz I had too much salt in it. On the notes me the Philly has so much salt in it I couldn’t eat it. I couldn’t even find a cheese.

Brisket is excellent. Waitress told me I didn’t need a knife, and was right. So moist and tender, even fell off the fork. Went back again, got the brisket again, just as good.

Excellent service and great BBQ. I had the 1/4 chicken and the dry rub is top notch. The chicken fell off the bone. I still added a little of their sauce on the side. The mustard sauce is pretty good for not being from South Carolina. It was tangy with mustard and vinegar but not overly sweet with molasses and brown sugar. The cole slaw was pretty good as well, not too sweet or runny. Will definitely be back when in the area!

After eating here a number of times, it has become one of my favorite bbq restaurants. The ribs here are outstanding! I’ve always had fast and friendly service here. Just a quick heads up, if you are ordering the sweet potatoe fries as a healthy option, ask them to hold the sugar that they normally dust on top of them.

Friday night at Boneyard Barbque is seafood night. I had fried shrimp and fried fish. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. I have enjoyed their barbecue chicken on a previous visit and it was delicious as well. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Reidsville area.
