Just had a wonderful early supper here. We had the hibachi meal and everything was delicious. The salad was crisp and the dressing was lovely. The clear soup had a wonderful flavor. I cannot say enough about the main course. The flavors were wonderful and each part was good to perfection.

Okay… I LOVE sushi, get it every week & I think this is the BEST I have ever had in Jersey. I was not expecting it to be so good but it totally exceeded all of my expectations. We got the King Tuna roll (which was my absolute favorite), the sumo roll and the Dynamite. They were all amazing. I will definitely be returning here way too often to try everything on the menu

Had a reservation for 715 at night with family and friends(6 people). At hibachi table for a hour before the chef started cooking. Mind you they said only 2 chefs yet 2 groups of people walk ins seated and served before us. Told server who was rude and rushing all of us no shrimp for me (allergic). Cook then put shrimp on top of my food so now I can’t eat any of it. The manager ( nasty rude lady) told me it was my fault not telling anyone. Informed her I did tell server They tried to give me a different plate with the same food on it. Informed them that’s not how food allergy’s go. Always do Mizuki but they where full for tonight to I figured my friends have tried sumo so we will try it. Worst mistake to date. Had hardly any dinner then they tried to not take my food which I can’t eat not off the bill. Will NEVER go back even if it was free

I have been going to this restaurant for over a decade now. I love everything that I have ordered there. They are always busy but service is always fast, efficient, and friendly! Even after I moved away, when I come back to the area to visit, it is always on my list of places to go when I’m there. Jack is great, even after not going there for a number of years due to the pandemic, he still remembers me. Any time there is something to celebrate with friends or family, if I’m in the area this is where I go!

I came here Friday night around 8:00 last minute with a large group and they were able to fit us in and that was great. The hibachi server was awesome and very personable. The woman who was also working there was the complete opposite .. she was rude and nasty. She got into an argument with one of the people in my party and then decided to evil eye us the entire time. I work in the service industry and am a waitress myself and the way the woman stood there and argued with a customer and then made the chose to make the rest of our experience uncomfortable was unacceptable. The woman is in her late 50s and was acting like a child, it was very embarrassing and not a good look on the resturant. If you’re choosing to eat here just know if you do not like your appetizer she will argue with you about it and then give you a hard time about taking it off the bill. If you’re looking for a nice hibachi place to eat at there is a better one that is in Ocean that I would recommend!
