Sweet Southern Heat BBQ is a mobile full commercial BBQ kitchen food trailer. We use Lang smokers and ONLY oak wood to cook our prime meats the old school way! We make everything homemade from our dryrub to our scratch made southern sides. We also slice our Texas style brisket and cut all our meats to order so it ensures you get the best, freshest product we have to offer. If you are a BBQ fanatic or just the occasional consumer you will want to try us out. If your having a country style wedding or event but want high class BBQ, give us a call. Y’all need to stop what you are doing and try this BBQ! Tremendous flavor in the pulled pork, add a little sweet sauce and it is out of this world good! Was lucky enough to stop by on a day they had mac and cheese, creamy and had a punch of flavor! Loved every bite! The Cole slaw was super fresh and yummy. Perfectly cooled down the sweet southern heat of the Mac and cheese and the pulled pork. Absolutely will be recommending this place to eveyone I know! You are missing out if you don’t try this little gem!

OMG! I was near Odessa today and was very interested in BBQ… There it is… Like a mirage on the side of the road… Sweet Southern Heat BBQ!! Really Great People!! I ordered their 4 meat sampler and all the sides!! Absolutely Outstanding!! Sliced brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and Sliced jalapeño/Cheddar sausage … Sides were beans (of course), coleslaw, and Mac & Cheese!! GREAT Flavors and textures!!! I will track them down again Very Soon!!!

The Ribs are screamin good! They have this stuff on them, it’s called MEAT! I got the brisket too. Both items had very good bark on them. Smoked perfectly. The folks were clean and friendly.

Just wow! My son got a pulled pork sandwich, I got a beef brisket sandwich, and we shared a pint of cajun Mac N Cheese. Everything was unbelievably delicious with generous portions. The Brisket, in particular, has such a unique flavor and tender texture that I enjoyed every bite.

This is hands down some of the best bbq I have ever had. The flavor is absolutely mouth watering. The ribs are so tender they fall off the bone and the dry rub seasoning is to die for. The brisket is perfection, pulled pork out of this world, and smoked sausage is full of flavor. All make great sandwiches or platters which I have had them all. Everything goes well with their southern homemade sides. The creamy mac & cheese, hearty potato salad, and sweet baked beans are absolutely delectable. You have to stop by and give a try, you won’t regret it.

I get why all the good reviews. The ribs are smokey but not overpowering, with lots of flavor, there really is no need to add sauce but I guess is not a bad idea either.

ove this place!!! Mike and his staff put out great BBQ, and awesome service. The ribs are seasoned to perfection. My daughter use to say I had the best ribs until she ate Mike’s lol. The brisket has great flavor and has that perfect snap when pull testing. It’s hard to please me when it comes to BBQ but Sweet Southern Heat BBQ does NOT DISAPPOINT!!!

I only wish I had taken pics BEFORE my friends and family devoured it all! 5 lbs of Pork, 5 lbs of sausage, 3 full racks of ribs, and 5 lbs or brisket – let alone the full trays of beans, slaw and potato salad. ALL wasted through by 25 people and some kids in less than an hour! I’ve never heard such rave reviews. A friend made a very good point – the dry rub and wood smoked flavor takes it beyond just “BBQ”. More flavor than anything I’ve ever enjoyed. It was all seasoned so perfectly, and not overly smokey (a common problem with BBQ). And the owners were SO accommodating in making sure we had everything we needed for our party. Made some customers for life today! For SURE!
