Maria’s is THE BEST TACO TRUCK in Carlsbad! U can get 4 delicious tacos for under $13! Her green salsa is amazing and she welcomes you with her personal authenticity! Her burgers are also something worth trying not only for the price but for the flavor! We will miss her foodies when we return to Houston!

Delicious food super delicious, great service. Food truck in a dirt lot off of national parks highway on the south side of Carlsbad. Lots of taco options, Chile rellenos are on point. Great corn tortillas with a nice greasy char on them. Salsas are solid. Coke and Fanta available. There is seating available on picnic tables and good parking options. Just watch out the entrance creeps up on you!

Not sure what the hype is about at this food truck. My fiance & I stopped by he wanted a quick bite, late evening on a Sunday. We waited almost 2 hours for our food. They also forgot his coke but the food is a definite no. He ordered the Barbacoa Tacos they were bland and dry, he threw them away. He ordered the chicken flautas as well sad to say they were bland and tasteless, the presentation is nice but I’m assuming the service is the only good thing here.

Maria hands down has the best Carne Asada fries in town and I’m willing to put money on it. She does take sometime to get her food out but be rest assured that the food will smack your taste buds harder then when mama used to hit you with the chancla and then you know it’ll all be worth the wait. If you want low effort food or fast food there are plenty of places in town for that. If you want someone who takes their time and gives you a quality meal then this is the place to eat at!

I’m going to start off this review by saying we waited 1 hour for our food and there was only 1 family of 4 in front of us. Also the address here isn’t correct anymore she moved locations and we didn’t know until we got to this address and couldn’t find the food truck. So if you’re interested in coming call and ask her for the right address. I ordered a torta de trompo and really liked it and my husband ordered some tacos and his favorite meat was trompo.
