Tried Cashs diner for the first time ever and was not disappointed! I ordered the grilled fish and shrimp and my husband got the fried fish and shrimp. We both had side salads and they were fresh and crisp. They also brought me a service of greens which were very flavorful. The food was delicious and the waitress, Rhonda, was very nice. By the time we finished our food, we were going to order a piece of cake but it got busy and we were too short on time to wait. Rhonda was the only waitress working at the time. Would definitely recommend!

Been trucking across I-10 for decades and have had red beans & rice just about everywhere, but imo Cash’s is the best. Not only does it come with a great side of Cajun sausage, there’s sausage in the beans too! The potato salad is homemade, and you should try the steak bites appetizer.

Menu price shows 2.99 for a cup of red beans and rice and I was charged 3.99 then when I mentioned it the lady was like the manager makes the change. I said well the menu don’t show 3.99 then she was like what’s a dollar I said it was your tip but like u said whats a dollar.

Let me start with the food I ate…My fried chicken salad was fabulous!! Baked potato not so much. The only downfall to my visits was the fact that I waited almost 45 minutes before someone (not my waitress) came to ask me what my order was, then another 5 minutes to actually get my food. My ACTUAL waitress was more attentive to the patron sitting in front of me and only came to my table once. Would I come again, not unless I had all the time in the world.:/

Great place to stop in for a great meal! Staff are awesome and have excellent people skills. There are 3 components of this business. The store, the restaurant and the truck stop casino. I enjoy visiting all 3. Great selection of poker style machines which are always updated with the newest games. Drinks are free as long as you are playing in the casino area. Fair prices on menu items with nice portions also. The grilled Shrimp Salad is A1!!! Keep up the awesome work guys! A+++

Food and service was outstanding! I haven’t had food that good since I was kid at grandmas! (She was raised on a farm) very southern style friendly and laid back if I lived here I’d be a regular! Just don’t drink the water it taste like salt, I’m sure it’s just how the tap water tastes in this area… I recommend the chicken fried steak
