If someone says breakfast, I say sugar shack!. I am a breakfast person, and it is a one meal I enjoy eating out more than any other. The food is excellent, especially number 14, if you include the peppers and onions. The staff treat you like family. The customers who frequent Sugar Shack seem like family as well. There’s always a pleasant atmosphere. The place is clean and the food is always excellent. I never even had an average breakfast there. While we have many excellent places to eat in Zephyrhills, the Sugar Shack remains #1

The front of house staff is excellent. Greeted immediately and never had to ask for a refill on our drinks…amazing! Food was…ehh..alright at least what I had ordered. Decor and lighting reminds me of a cafeteria. Better if it reflected the name Sugar Shack.

Went to a so-called local restaurant thinking I was going to be serve some homemade restaurant quality food.. when I received it it just look like it was a grease trap.. I swear it look like I seen dead roaches close to where the windows in the kitchen are.. and if that cook looked like she was tweaked out and had been up any longer she probably would have held the Guinness book of world records for staying up

I was at the Sugar Shack just now. It was a nice experience until the lady at the front asked me to leave. It was humiliating. I had only been there about 20 minutes, a single lady eating alone, actually enjoying myself. I had no sooner taken my last bite that this lady asked me to leave so she could have my table for another guest. I wasn’t sitting at a 4 top but a 2 top. I have a right just as everyone else to enjoy my breakfast time. I was looking for a daily dining spot Was it so important to lose my daily business? Also price was high for breakfast. $14 for Omelet, Grits and Coffee. Won’t be back. Customer Service is key!

Waited an hour for cold food. Zero stars if I could. For a real breakfast golden corral, McDonald’s, 7-11 are all better options. Not even hot garbage, cold garbage. The food was obviously microwaved, or very old, and sitting under heat lamps. There is no way this place has had a health inspection recently. By far and away, the worst restaurant I have been to in 10 years. A broken-down dirty food truck would be a safer option.
