By all appearances, it looks like what you would expect of a downtown diner. Just head on in and grab any available table. The service is outstanding. They took great care of us. The food is delicious. The menu is typical American diner food. We’ve had chicken fried steak, burger, turkey sandwich, and perhaps the best fish n chips I’ve had. Love the ranch dressing, too. If you are passing through Los Banos, get off the main drag and head downtown to this diner. You will not be disappointed.

Was looking for a place to get dinner in Los Banos. Sixth Street Diner came up in a Google search. It didn’t disappoint. I had a bacon cheeseburger and substituted a salad for the fries. I’m pretty sure it was a half pound burger and the bacon was thick and crispy, the cheese was a good cheddar and lots of it. The Bleu cheese dressing was about the best that I’ve ever had. The service was quick and attentive.

Nice small diner with lots of different types of menu choices. Our server was super nice. She asked another table if they would switch tables so we could have a big table since we needed to seat six of us. The plates all had big servings. The temperature inside was cool and fresh even though it was 91° outside. Great place!

Haven’t been here for over 10 years, same owners and the fish and chips better than before. Huge serving size couldn’t finish both pieces of fish. My son couldn’t finish his lunch as well. Glad to see they were still in business. Will return…

We were headed up north on the 5 and there was nothing for miles so we took a detour here. Well with it! I got the biscuits and gravy, and my husband got the chili cheese omlett. Both were top notch and what you can only expect from a small town diner. Definitely impressed and would come again
