Sooo gross, I’ve ordered a couple times and had a terrible experience each time, but today I ordered sweet and sour chicken and the sauce is literally JELLO. I tried adding water to see if that would thin it (prematurely) because when I tasted the sauce it tasted like IRON!! The sweet and sour sauce is literally bright orange jello omg. Rice was not redeeming and extremely bland. Oh and the photos are AFTER trying to thin the sauce with water and heating it up!! AND SO EXPENSIVE (14$!!! for a combo!) I paid 14$ for this

To start off the interior is very well decorated but I think it’s been like that for a very long time. Bought wonton soup with kung pao chicken entree and fried rice. The soup wasn’t hot the taste wasn’t great and the wontons weren’t wontons they were just slices of it and small bits of pork swimming around the bowl the Kung pao was good (quantity great)but the rice was tooooooooooo dry and quantity of rice was tooooooooooo little and it was the worst fried rice I had ever tasted. I had thought it was vegetable fried rice but it was just fried rice (rice+egg+soya sauce) that’s it. Nice place to dine in but food is excatly like a Chinese take out place

Restaurant was filthy. Table was sticky. Server was extremely rude and impatient. She asked if we were ready to order and we kindly asked for a few more minutes. She stormed away and threw her book on the floor. We left. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Will not be going back.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! THE GOOD REVIEWS WERE WRONG. Servers were nice. Canned drinks. Food was terrible. WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had I literally took 3 bites and my stomach hurts I’ve never had such awful Chinese tasted funky. Cartilage in the chicken. Rice was dry. Tasted reheated and old. Being from out of town, my wife and I were hungry and took a chance. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was about the best Chinese that we’ve ever had… and we both love Chinese cuisine. It is a cozy little place and fairly clean. I was surprised that we were the only ones there for sit down at 6:30 on a Wednesday. I guess that is better than being crowded. My only suggestion is that they should have a little music playing, not dead silence. I enjoy oriental music at these places. I would call this place Mentor’s best kept secret.

Prepare to be insulted by your meal: What a Dreadful dining experience. 20 years ago, Jade Tree severed real prepared Chinese food. Now General Taos Chicken = frozen chicken nuggets with instant sauce packets. Neither of us were able to eat our meals. If you are stuck going here, bring your own Trivia or Sweet & Lo packets as you are quickly told No Have! None! if you want some in your weak Oolong tea.

Always a good dining experience. My wife loves the Walnut Chicken and I get the Chicken Broccoli Stir-fried. Tasty Egg rolls and fried rice with the combo. Only minor complaint; I’d rather have fountain soft drinks rather than cans. Prices are about $$
