The food was good. The menu is really small. We only had about 5 things to choose from. Very pricey. And what ever you do. Do not order a lemon drop drink. Because that 12oz drink cost me 20$

Look if you live 40 minutes away then it’s probably not your thing. But if you live at the lake then this is the best and only place around. We enjoy the homey feeling and local crowd.

Seen all the post to come try on FB. Wasn’t impressed. Grouper was not seasoned well. Hush puppies no flavor. Shrimp were good. Most of the sides were not seasoned good. Maybe we caught it on a bad night. Staff we’re friendly. Definitely not worth the 40 minute drive.

Updating previous post…. Elmo’s is open. Great new management, friendly atmosphere, love that they started a Happy Hour! Food is good, great pizza. They are working to somewhat update the interior and the menu keeps expanding. So happy there is somewhere nearby to go on a Friday night without driving all the way to Milledgeville.

We’ve driven by here for years and never stopped in, but tonight we did! Got the fried shrimp, hush puppies, and fries. Their hush puppies and shrimp were great! Our waitress was awesome. The food was hot. The restaurant was clean and nice. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back!
