I can’t remember a time when something tasted so bad I couldn’t take another bite, but unfortunately I ordered the pork belly bao buns and they were inedible. The buns tasted like plastic and the pork belly was flavorless and dry. I wouldn’t recommend.

I LOVE onigiri! I tried it in NJ and have been having a very hard time finding anything that compares in NOVA, but Japomen is it! I just wish their was more rice and filling, however the favor is on point! Also they chop up the shrimp tempura so there’s no annoying tail to try and pick out! I love that. They are a little pricy for the size but the 3 for $11 is a decent deal that will have me returning for more onigiri regularly! Eventually I’ll check out the ramen.

Food tasted alright, but serving sizes are tiny and it was very overpriced for what you get. I got ramen and it only had one pice of pork and barely any toppings, ramen from the grocery store has more noodles than this place put in my bowl! I also got shrimp tempura and it’s $8 for 3 pieces you can buy in the freezer section of the grocery store for like 10 pieces. Overall mid restaurant won’t come again.

Ordered onigiri, tasted good but the filling to rice ratio is way off. I tasted mostly rice thank the tuna. The price for one does not fit the portion that is given. Ordered their lightly fried rolls and those are good and crunchy but please take it easy on the cream cheese and sauce.

Had the tonkochu ramen and broth was flavorful and rich. Not too salty like many ramen restaurants. Had the dragon roll and it was pretty good but not the best. Saw few things I would like to try next time. They serve their food in real bowls and plates which was good instead of to go containers others use. Will be back.

We went there for dinner, I got 2 orders of chicken ramen. One of my daughters took 2 bites and she did not like it at all. I took it back to them and ask to substitute the order for something else but the owner or the guy that was making the sushi stated this I halfway eaten and we cannot return it so I stated I would just like it substituted for something else and he was really rude about it. My only reason to write this is him being so rude about it, he could’ve done a better service and try to make my daughter a little happy but he didn’t!

Ordered a seared ribeye ramen and it was terrible. Literally only gave me 2 small pieces of meat, worst ramen in the DMV. Noddle were below average. Broth is the only okay thing about this meal. Expensive for the quality and taste. Go somewhere else.
