I was very disappointed with my meal today. I ordered two wings and ended up with one small wing and an unidentified piece of something. Half order of cold fries. The biscuit was ok. Church’s need to step their game up. They were out of hot sauce. Go figure.

Food was hot and good. I ordered the 2piece leg and thigh with Biscuit and Mashed Potatoes and sweet tea. I ordered cheesy jalapeño bombers and fried okra. There was a wait but I don’t mind waiting on hot food. I should have ordered me another biscuit. They were out of Lemonade and apple pie.

I made three separate orders and the clerk was very helpful. Everything was reasonably priced and I suppose for some the right value for the right family. However they changed the chicken sandwich recipe. I’m guessing to compete with Popeyes chicken sandwich or the countless others out there on a quest to be the best at the same exact thing, instead of excelling at what they are already known for. I can appreciate the all white breast meat but I also know they take their chicken breast out of the oil too soon so it is just done enough to be cooked but can stay juicy. My palette says undercooked I could still taste the egg yolk. My chicken sandwich was that classic crispy chicken patty, however processed, was always hitting the spot. I would put jalapeno bombers on it so it’s just a little spicy the cheese would give some extra yummy crispiness to the buttery mayo and lettuce. I wish restaurants would stop trying to ride the wave that one big hits makes. Be the reason I visit again not the comparison.

Chicken is good IMO crispy and moist. Service was ok, the honey biscuit is smashed inside the box. Dining area is small and less clean. I’d recommend to eat it home.
