We stopped here at the Happy Valley location this evening about an hour and a half before regular closing time. Closing time on the door said 10 pm, and we came in at about 8:30pm. We ordered our food to go because staff was putting the chairs on top of tables as if they didn’t want customers using them. I ordered a chicken burrito with white rice, my wife picked up a chicken bowl with white rice and my daughter ordered a chicken bowl with brown rice. Normally I enjoy Chipotle’s food but today I have to say I was very disappointed. They were out of several things and the staff treated us like we were an inconvenience to them. We didn’t understand why they weren’t making more food instead of just leaving the item trays empty. Also the place was a mess, the drink station looked like drinks had been spilled all over and no one was cleaning up. My wife initially wanted a salad but was told they were out of lettuce so she went with the chicken bowl instead. We took our food and opted to eat at home since it appeared they didn’t want us to eat at the restaurant. Once home I found that my burrito had almost no chicken and the rice was hard and uncooked. My wife had the same experience with the rice in her bowl. My daughter said hers was ok but she had opted for the brown rice. I should have checked the reviews for this place before stopping here. Hopefully this saves someone else the headache. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

The food was good and hot. The service was fast and great. The cashier was friendly and polite. The place needed a round of cleanup so bad, napkins and food just everywhere. The kitchen from our view point was an absolute disaster. Why put a clean cutting board on a filthy food filled counter? Yes, I’ve worked in the kitchen… Clean your base guys. The selection of tea and lemonade is wonderful. Love the outdoor seating.

Read the reviews! This particular location sucks. This evening I ordered 2 bowls and some sides. None of which came out right. Our particular worker with long hair that was helping us claimed he never had given a side out before. All his scoops were half scoops and eventually I had to ask for someone to help him understand how to scoop food. 1/10 I’m tired of this locations lack of training. Won’t be going back.

So bummed to do this. Every time I’ve placed an order with this location it is wrong. Order 6 items and 3 of them were wrong. Like, read the order. I even came to pick it up. I’m usually not a complainer- I’ve worked in food service for years. I’m all about giving the benefit of the doubt, but I am tired of paying for things and then not receiving them. Do better.

I will never return to this Chipotle again. I bit into my burrito and felt something foreign against my lips. I opened my burrito to inspect and found a 1” x 3” piece of thick plastic. This was not something that accidentally happened for instance when a bag of lettuce was opened. It was the backing to and in the shape one of those fake mustache. When I called to let them know I was initially apologized to and told by the manager that I could receive a free item next time I came in. Making someone’s food incorrectly and screwing around and contaminating someone’s food while preparing it is completely different. I explained the reason why I was calling in was so they can check to make sure there weren’t other foreign objects in the food. This is highly unacceptable and when I told the MOD that I had sent a message to his corporate offices, through the messenger app, and would wait to hear back from them he told me “Have fun with that!” and hung up on me. Really unprofessional and very poorly handled.

Good food and portions, friendly and affordable but they need to work on cleaning the tables. It’s hard to find a clean table to eat at. But I like the fact that you can get whatever topings you want and I love their Agua Fresca. The rice was good with the cilantro in it and the guacamole tasted freshly made. Delicious!
