Did not meet up to expectations at all. Parking was not close, maybe peak time? Food served was blah as can be. Drinks cold . Service good for street clothes server’s. Price average

Always wanted to try and got my chance today! Food we got was amazing! We are going back to try the stuffed potatoes because those sound great! Menu is very easy, and choices are plentiful, from full meals, to sandwiches, pizza, salads, baskets. We rode from Kendallville, In. and will make the drive again to sample other parts of the menu! Service was top notch, our drinks were never empty. Definitely satisfied customers and new fans of The Pickle!

The Pickle is probably the shining light of Markle. The burgers are pretty unique and I didn’t get to have a potato, but they looked great. They have the crystal fries that, imo, are the best kind, and their menu is pretty diverse for a bar. The only thing I didn’t like is that I probably won’t go back because I have no reason to visit Markle again. Maybe some day I’ll pass through and stop at the pickle.

Everyone was friendly and hurried to get you what you needed quickly. The food was wonderful!!! The interior could use updated but that’s such a minor detail when the food and the staff are so good!

Sunday, I rode down to the pickle for their special, the loaded nachos. It had a nice crispy layered chips with ground beef and then the cheese was melted before adding any of the cold veggies. The jalapenos were fresh cut and definitely on the spicy side. Lucky for me, between the sour cream and the $3 half pitcher special, I was able to brave my way through the whole plate.

The service started off good but went to hell by the end of the meal. 15 people in our group. Everything fried was overcooked/burnt. Food didn’t live up to the hipe of the menu. 35 minutes waiting on two deserts. It didn’t take that long for dinner. Then had to ask for credit card back. It wasn’t returned with the bill to sign.

Their New York strip Steak dinner special on Friday and Saturdays is fantastic, best steak I have ever gotten from a bar. Cooked to perfection and for a great price as well. Staff and owner are very nice, felt like home. Will be going back soon !! Cheers to the pickle bar family !!

Service was very friendly and attentive, and the menu is very extensive with good prices. The chicken philly sub was outstanding.

Funny name for a bar. 21+ only sign on door. Large menu. Much of it fried-type bar food. I dont eat here much so I can’t say how the food is. They have salads. Curiously, they don’t serve a pickle here. They have batter-fried pickles spears, but not just a plain, large, dill pickle like you used to find in a gallon glass jar at the convenience store. No smoking allowed. Didn’t always used to be like that. Laid back. I got the deep fried starter variety dish called the Munchie Basket. It was just ok. 2 beers and the Munchie Basket for $20 including tip. Wish it had more windows to look outside. Kinda dreary inside. Friendly enough bar staff but not very attentive. Almost like they were understaffed.
