As someone who’s been to multiple Peruvian restaurants in Chicago, this place is the best. My Peruvian family decided to try this place and they all love it. The service is good, the food is great, the music playing is nice and the next time we are in the area this place will definitely be our go to restaurant. The prices are nice as well compared to how other places tend to overcharge. Highly recommend.

I took my work team there for lunch. The food was out very quickly and everything was delicious and flavorful. Everyone enjoyed what they got and also envied the next person’s plate because everything looked delicious. We all thought the quantity was really generous. But the cherry on top was they gave us a free box of cookies for coming in as a large group. It’s rare to see these small touches of customer service.

I got the quarter roasted chicken with yucca fries. First off, the yucca fries–absolutely amazing. Crispy, well seasoned, the most perfect texture ever. This was my first time eating anything yucca, and it’s safe to say that I will be seeking it out again in the future. So so good.

It was our first time eating here and first time trying Peruvian food. My friend and I had Pollo Tropical (with sweet plantains) and Pollo Caribeno (I forgot the fried yellow things but my friend enjoyed those. We really enjoyed every bite. If you’re wondering, is that green rice? Yup! It is. It is cilantro rice and I’ll tell you what, it was damn good. They also have this purple corn sugar drink, there is something else in it. I forgot what the lady told me.

Absolutely delicious – loved the pollo tropical and the arroz con cerdo. The meat in both cases was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. We felt like the cilantro rice was a nice addition and the beans were perfect! Would recommend this spot for sure!
