We stopped here after a long travel (flight delay) day from Chicago to Oregon. Everyone was hungry and super excited to finally be in Oregon. The comfort food was great and really hit the spot. The Mac n cheese with smoked pulled pork was hands down the best plate at our table. I even liked it and I’m not a Mac n cheese type.

My friend had an order of Fish and Chips, fresh made coleslaw and got a slice of marionberry and lemon cake to go!

This place is great. Good portions and amazing food. This cinnamon roll was probably the best in my life

After a hot day on the road we found the Tollgate Inn. The food was good and our server was amazing. We sat outside with our little dachshund and she immediately brought her a dish of cool water. She was attentive, communicated about the status of our meal even though we were there during the dinner rush. Would recommend.

I was told by many people that this was the best place to eat for breakfast. This isn’t at all what I experienced. I didn’t bring my phone so no pictures. I ordered chicken and waffles. Three chicken was rubber I couldn’t even chew it and the bacon bits were like little rocks. They took it back and made me thre breakfast burrito, the eggs were done way to much and it was tasteless. I will give them credit on taking it all back..Even the coco booze drink I didn’t take but two sips off. They also let me bring my dog into the outer reading area.. And bright her a bowl of water. And they let me use the phone to call my company that slept in. Paper straws for a hot drink just melted.

Tried the brisket plater. Wish it was better. I will be back to try the fish and chips but a hard pass on brisket and coleslaw. I love the environment and the Bakery IS TO DIE FOR!

Stopped here earlier today for breakfast with my grandma and it was absolutely wonderful. The way they decorate is absolutely adorable. The waitress was very friendly and sweet.

I’ve never done this but something needs to change. Not busy at all it took five minutes for the person to come out of the back and seat me. Said waitress will be with you that was ten minutes later no water no coffee offered. After I ordered and asked for water and coffee it took another ten to fifteen minutes to get it. I almost walked out. It took a half an hour just to get water and coffee. What happened to when u get seated they ask u this. Then I noticed they do that to everybody. My waitress could of gotten to it sooner but clearing 3 tables when nine to ten are still open was more important than customer service. Never saw my waitress for another twenty minutes til food came if I could have my coffee refilled. Then waited for my bill waitress never came by so I just left my money on the table and left. Food was good but service is terrible.

We were on our way home from the mountain and decided to stop for dinner. We had the prime rib, not on the menu, special every Friday and Sat night – no kidding, the best piece of beef I have ever had! Excellent service, very friendly staff. Whenever we go to Mt Hood, this will be our place to eat. I am excited to try their breakfast next time.
