Ordered a pizza today as I have numerous times without an issue. Today the pie was totally runny, uncuttable slices and the crust was the only substantive breading. To boot, the pie was especially salty, likely caused by the volume of cheese.

It was a fairly average establishment. Clean and above a white dive stop but still missing something to set it in the true restaurant category. The man behind the counter was more interested in texting until he gave me attention. I assume this is not standard practice however. The pizza was of good size but still more expensive than it is worth the crust stayed rubbery and the cheese just failed to congeal after cooling yet it was fully cooked. I’m curious what vendors they use. I did however take a menu and might try the actual meals but my quest for Ocean County pizza not at boardwalk prices continues.

We have been a long time customers of positano’s restaurant for home delivery and have eaten in the restaurant personally a few times as well. The food has always been excellent and delivery punctual. So this past weekend we were hosting a double birthday Pool party and we decided to have food catered in from positanos. We kept the menu on the simple side since it was an outdoor event. We ordered several different types of cold subs and several hot pizzas. The delivery was exactly on time. The subs were beautifully arranged on nice platters. The sandwiches were very abundantly filled and plenty of condiments on the side as requested. The pizza was hot and delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. The price was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend you order food whether it be for a few people or a whole crowd… You will not be disappointed. BON APETITO!

I’m staying in Toms River for work, another restaurant (too far away for delivery) recommended this place. When I called they were super patient, answered my questions, took my order. Food was delivered in less than 30 minutes. Excellent service! The food is EXCELLENT! Decent prices as well. I will definitely eat here on my future travels through Toms River.

“Minestrone” soup I got for lunch had moldy potatoes, I asked them to replace it with pasta fagioli which looked and smelled the same when arrived, except potatoes were replaced by tomatoes.
