An amazing restaurant with impeccable service and food. This has been one of our mainstays for a few years now and I don’t see that changing. The food is excellent and somehow continues to get better. The ricotta is a must have each time and has been updated recently with even better toast. Creamy, a bit of honey, and delicious. We always get the bisteca gorgonzola steak with gnocchi and the Chilean seabass. Both are cooked sous vide so they’re as tender as can be and very flavorful. The garden salad is also a must have each time as it’s fresh, great greens, and excellent dressing options. Other favorites are the pasta al limone and pasta alla papalina with chicken. You can’t go wrong with any of the deserts.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing! Our group ordered 4 completely different meals and each was as fantastic as the next. On week nights they open at 3pm but the kitchen closes at 930pm so don’t wait too late. They had live music but I can not get over how good the food and service was. Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had.

I absolutely loved this place!!! The staff was amazing especially the bartender she was so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful! The wine selection was vast and the food menu was condensed and precise. The flavor was spectacular and they even asked me what level of spice I preferred for my pasta! Their Caesar salad had to be part of my top 5 that I’ve ever had and I typically don’t care for a wedge but this one made me eat my words, literally! The dynamic between front of the house and back of the house was family oriented and they help each other out throughout the entire dining process. I will 100% return again on my next visit to Sioux Falls!

I always have stellar service and amazing food whenever I visit R Wine Bar & Kitchen! My visit this past week was no exception to that! I tried the ribs with crunch that they are featuring in May and it was SO good! The meat was tender enough to come off the bones and the flavor was spot on! I also had the mussels for an appetizer…which if you haven’t tried them…you must! Took a piece of the lemon cake…also a May feature…to go. As I was leaving…Ricardo asked how everything was and I told him, “perfection as always!” Sioux Falls is so lucky to have so many great restaurants to enjoy. But this is one of the best of the best!

The best cheesecake I’ve had in my life! I also had pasta al limone with shrimp, which was delicious. Great food and a great experience overall. My only complaint/suggestion would be to add a vegetarian/vegan option to the menu.

Don’t try the meatballs! I know it’s supposed to be a nice spot but we had a poor experience. Service was really slow and we only got asked for more drink like once (water pitcher was at the table). When we got our food mine was really good but a few other got meatballs and they were terrible. I only took a small bit and I wanted to spit it out. In total we were there for about two hours and all but about 10 mins was waiting on service.
