Nice to enjoy a bit of true and not “Disney” Americana. Walking in and seeing the stools along where the cooking is right in front of your eyes (and nose)… , really a great reminder of days when real food was prepared by folks that knew your name. Lots of history to see on the walls, local memories and ads for products that have been around for years. You know a place has good food when it is hard to find a seat. Hats off to keeping a slice of the American downtown spirit alive. the prices are right, and so is the service.

Not like I expected a lot from this place to begin with but their food is nasty. I was told by the wait staff to not order a danish out of their display cases cause she really didn’t know how old it was. Even though you can see them cook your food, the kitchen needs cleaned up bad.
