I recommend for everyone to eat at this place because the burgers are delicious, well made, and even if you don’t get the jumbo option or the bigger patty, the food here is definitely filling. I’d definitely recommend to try the cubby burger, as it was a great mix of both the sausages and burger meat. Top 3 Burgers of All Time for me. After years of coming here the burgers never disappoint. The cook-cashiers are friendly, and the service is fast. With the place being a lovely shack smack-dab in the middle of bustling Los Angeles, you can expect to hear the city alive and well and see all types of people excited to eat here. The place can get a bit busy at times, and you have to double check the schedule on google maps to make sure it’s open, but I promise it is completely worth it to try this place at the very least. The seating area is just a few picnic tables in the shade right by a gas station.

Honestly, why the hype?! The burger smelled good as it was cooking, but it was bland! I could’ve had a better burger at In & Out! The fries wasn’t anything 2 brag about either. I’m sure I won’t be back. Stop fooling your customers with the smell!

Came here because of the reviews and a friends recommendation. All in all I was disappointed, ordered the Jumbo Cubby Combo, unfortunately both the burger and fries seemed under-seasoned/bland. Wish I could’ve rated it higher but, I didn’t find much here that would lead me to recommend this spot to someone.

I know I might get some shade about my review but that’s ok. The burger was just ok. I usually don’t like lettuce or tomato on a burger. I know, I know unpopular but that’s just me. I prefer Mayo, pickles, raw onions, and a little mustard. That’s it. Never really cared for the “thousand island” dressing on a burger. In a perfect world for me. Every burger would have Dukes mayonnaise on it. If you have never had Dukes Mayo. Try it! It will change your world. You can get it I SoCal at most Ralph’s or Amazon fresh. If Dave’s used Dukes Mayo. This burger would have been a 10. But definitely try Dave’s. It’s not bad. Just not the best I’ve ever had.

Hamburger shack that shares a parking lot with a gas station. My mom stopped in here on a whim while getting gas (we were drawn in by the smell). You can tell it’s a spot with some loyal locals. The service is quick and the prices are reasonable. Take it to go or share a picnic table with someone during the lunch time rush. Decent burger and fries combo that hits the spot, check it out next time your fast food cravings come calling!

Yes, yes, yes indeed!! This is another old, school, SoCal gem! Roadside burgers, hot and fresh, off an old menu. The burgers are delicious, the fries are done perfectly with a light dusting is seasoned salt and you pull your own coke out of the cooler.
