I had been wanting to try this place for a while now. I finally got the chance. The food was amazing. The French toast was so decadent! But the coffees we had were to DIE for!! And they also have alcoholic coffee which I thought was super interesting. The only reason I have the food four stars was because the spicy sausage biscuit and gravy was a little much for me visually and taste wise. This dish was not for me that’s what I will say. Over all great experience and can’t wait to go back!

I was in town for a family event and stopped by this delightful little brunch place with a family member. It was easy to find, the food was impeccable, and the service was top notch. Also – their sourdough bread is where it’s at! Cute option for drinks with brunch or non-alcoholic coffee and juices. It has a very earthy and friendly vibe throughout.

Update on second visit: This place was just as good as when I first met it. There are some out-of-this-world meals being made in The Early Bird Eatery, and I enjoyed every bite!

I’m visiting from Va Beach, VA and I just need everyone to know that this was hands down the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever eaten. Wish I could take this place back to VA with me!!! Service was lovely, atmosphere and decor were beautiful, and everything was delicious! Not pictured but also perfect were the cheesy grits as well as my hubby’s dish of biscuits and gravy.

This was my first time here and it was phenomenal. It was very busy because of restaurant week and I had to park in 15 min parking when I mentioned needing to move Shanna my server was nice enough to mention that the garage nearby is free for the first 2 hours. I ordered the Monte Cristo and it was great. I do think it should have had more jelly on it because that was the best part but I ordered extra on the side. It was slightly loud but that’s because of the lunch rush.

I was in the DTSB area and decided to give this place a try. Overall atmosphere is pretty nice and relaxing. My server was Keesh and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. The menu options are small but definitely come with lots of flavor. This was a breakfast date with my youngest daughter. She had the peaches and cream French toast and I had the crab cake eggs Benedict. Both were good and the portions were a nice size. Definitely plan to go back and try the rest of the menu throughout the year!

The most disgusting biscuits and gravy I’ve ever tasted. It seemed like the cook poured the whole box of Morton’s Salt into the gravy. The biscuits were hard and burnt. My prayer is that I was intentionally served this yucky excuse for biscuits and gravy because someone in back saw me and just wanted to ruin my day AND send me to the hospital. I’ve never been to a restaurant that couldn’t cook a simple breakfast BUT The Early Bird Eatery created a new experience. When the waitress asked how’s everything all I could say is IT’S SALTY. I tasted two times and asked her to bring me a to go box. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings. Hopefully this joint will get better and learn how to cook a simple breakfast staple as biscuits and gravy. Please review the pictures. To all the customers who have eaten at this joint, If my review is incorrect, please comment.

Lovely brunch with my hubby. Peach French toast and biscuits & gravy with mushroom sauce were plentiful and very tasty. I felt we definitely got our monies worth. Simple, unremarkable atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Walked over from my hotel around 1.30 pm on a Tuesday after a fun night out. Slept through breakfast so had to make for it with a big lunch. Ordered a small arugula salad, huevos rancheros, and cortado to go. Cortado was made right away and took about 7 minutes for food to come out. Seating was comfortable and the space is open and airy. Patio was still full with dine in customers.
