Absolutely rotten steak for $22. Got a strip steak to go and when I got it home I could barely cut it. Half of the steak was gristle fat. Wife got a salad with giant rings of onion. Asked for no tomato as well but there were tomatoes on the salad. Mac and cheese tastes boxed and artificial, same with the potatoes. The only thing I can say is what bit of the steak I could chew actually had good flavor.

Pleasantly surprised by this venue. First time here although I’ve driven by hundreds of times. Extensive menu, had the waitstaff make recommendations. The food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Especially enjoyed the appetizer sampler with three items of your choice. Excellent waitstaff never lost track of us, my beverage was never empty. Can’t wait to visit again!

I took my Mom and aunty here for lunch. The dining room was literally full of flies. I have never been so bothered by house flies in a restaurant. It was actually pretty gross. I had completely forgotten that I had been there once before about a yr ago and had the same experience, except it was much worse this time. I figured they probably had the kitchen doors propped open and sure enough as we were leaving we could see that a front facing door was propped open. They had one of those generic screens over the opening but we all know that doesn’t work. And the proof was in the dining room. If there were that many flies bothering us in the dining room I can’t imagine how many are in that kitchen landing on all the food and surfaces. I feel sorry for the servers who have to deal with it. You folks really need to take care of the fly problem. It’s gross. I won’t ever eat there again.

Great place to eat. The menu has a wide variety of home cooked meals. Everything from appetizers to main courses, you will be spoiled for choice. Friendly wait staff, prompt service and great prices. Just minutes from Rodgers flea market, this is a great option to flea market food truck fare.

I went to Rogers flea market and was looking for somewhere to eat afterwards. I found this place searching google and people seemed to enjoy it via reviews. My friend and I both got steak. Her steak was slightly cooked more than m/r which was no big deal it still looked good. Mine however was completely charred and 90% of it was well done. It was absolutely terrible. I liked the place and the server was great but the food not so much.

We’ve ordered to go from here before and it has always been great, but this is the first time we had ever gone in to eat, and certainly won’t be the last… nice environment, great staff and good menu. The all you can eat fish special on Friday is a great deal!

The East Palestine “The Original Roadhouse” is a very nice restaurant. It seems to be kind of hidden gem in my opinion. I’ve been here several times and the quality of both service, and food has been top notch. My fiance and I were there for dinner last evening and our server was fantastic. We’ll definitely be coming back more often.

I get take out here frequently. They have great burgers. The Onion Straws are really good. The Ribs are fantastic. Also the smell of the BBQ as you drive past really draws you in it smells soooo good. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I haven’t had a bad meal from them yet, you can’t go wrong with any selection from their menu
