I’ve eaten here a few times, and one thing is consistent the welcoming atmosphere, that both husband and wife have when you eat here. The food is good. It’s old fashion, Italian comfort food and will not disappoint. The atmosphere has been updated to bed now there is a covered area so you could still eat if it’s raining and there’s even some heating and fancy keep you cool. I like eating here and supporting small local but I also enjoy the choice of affordable wines, Italian beer and the dishes that they offer. I’ve been here several times and we will to come visit.

The food is incredible. Outdoor patio is beautiful. It is across from the train station, but normal traffic isn’t an issue. The owners are Italian, very attentive. The food is plentiful, I didn’t mind the to go containers, because there are leftovers!

The food was fine. The atmosphere was fine. What I can’t get over is my meal being served in a plastic take-out container. All of the other dishes on the table were hard plastic as well. I paid $70 for two entrees served in take-out containers with the lids underneath, an appetizer, and an Italian soda. I understand a meal being served in a take-out container if it’s from Noodles and Company, not a $70 meal in what should be a nice restaurant. There are plenty of wonderful options in Glen Ellyn, this is not one of them.

The place is adorable and you can tell there is love put into every corner. We got pizza.

Dined outside. Broken table, like liability broken table. We and the busboy tried to fix it. That wasn’t happening. Half way through our meal the busboy interrupts us, removes all of our plates, food items and drinks and replaces the table.

We went in for an after dinner dessert to be told by the older lady that dessert isn’t served at the location (it’s advertised and published on the paper menus) we were told we should’ve announced that we were only interested in dessert and drinks because it was dinner time although there was 0 wait and 4 tables she was clearly upset we wasted her time. Although we ordered roughly $40 in drinks….which we can only assume she thinks $0 dollars is better than at least $20. We canceled our drink order as it was obvious we weren’t welcomed. Can’t speak on the food as we were looking at apps as well when she told us desserts weren’t an option and again we should’ve let her know. Will not go back ever! We often come to Winfield area for business and were excited to explore a new restaurant but highly disappointed!

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Food is amazing, service is beyond friendly, and the new outdoor seating is fantastic for a summer day.

We live very near downtown Glen Ellyn. The restaurant is so cute, but the owners are so rude and inconsiderate. My daughter (13 yo) and I stopped by this afternoon to have a couple of cold drinks. I typically drink a few good quality beers… don’t linger and pay up. The blonde short-haired woman who owns the place told us that they only serve beer and wine. I pointed to the bottles of iced tea and suggested my daughter would be fine with that… The owner said “the iced tea is only served with dinner.” Essentially, they did not want to serve us… OR the want any children in the restaurant. The restaurant was empty except for one table. We have had dinner there in the past and it REALLY SUCKED. They serve expensive entrees served in plastic containers similar to a frozen dinner. My hunch is they are microwaving frozen entrees that were prepared weeks ago. The owner is very short sighted and ridiculously rude. I want to like the place because it’s cute, but I cannot go there anymore. RUDE. RUDE. RUDE.

Great place! Small dining area inside, but fantastic looking patio. But we are here for the food, which was fantastic. Had the Pollo Limone, and some Chianti and it was everything I could hope for. I will be back!

You’d be hard pressed to find a place less kid- and family-friendly. It was impressive how anti-social the service was. We went early and came into an empty restaurant as we arrived but the buggy couldn’t enter and had to stay outside. This meant we needed to bring our baby in with the bassinet which we were only begrudgingly allowed to place next to the table. No kids menu, but way too complicated to serve a grownup portion onto 2 plates with the sause on the side. Can’t do that. Eye rolling all around and while they didn’t have any highchairs or booster seats the kids were being told off for sitting on their knees, no climbing on the chairs. They should just hang up a sign saying ‘families not welcome’ and save everyone the bad experience
