The quality of the food at Dancing Chopsticks is sometimes really good and other times passable. You never know what to expect when you set foot here. But today I certainly wasn’t expecting a few pieces of plastic in my order of Pork Katsu Curry Rice. I was halfway done with it before I bit on something hard. I thought it was bone at first, but they were really sharp plastic pieces (pictured). I wasn’t craving any plastic for lunch, so I quickly lost my appetite.

Came here with my siblings and it’s a LOT of food for the price 1 Bento box could have been split between 2 other people. We loved everything but the udon noodles were lacking a bit of flavor and the Boba we got had a pearl or 2 that were uncooked. Their Boba is super cheap for how much you get though! (At least compared to what we usually get from around Riverside)

One of the best restaurants on UB’s Campus. Extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity you will get. If I buy, say, Chicken Thai Fried Rice, that is 2 meals for me! The taste is amazing and the food is well-seasoned unlike other Asian food joints on-campus. Food feels fresh too.

Very good high quality food. Very reasonable pricing. Large portions. I recommend a teriyaki platter. This place always comes in clutch.

Arguably the best spot for food on campus. Portion size is good too.

Came here on a Saturday night for a quick dinner with a few friends. Overall, Dancing Chopsticks is a decent Chinese/Japanese restaurant. I tried a meat sampler, which had a choice of two meats (several beef, pork, chicken options cooked as katsus or with teriyaki sauce). I ordered a Tokyo Chicken and a Pork Katsu, which came out to be a little under $9.

Serving was large but much was burnt/overcooked. Meat with breading was 25% meat, 75% breading. Beef was rubbery, plenty of rice. Would not order from again.

I go there for the ramen usually and is only mediocre. This place is the most likely to be empty on a school day noon and that should tell you about its popularity. If you need Asian food the Korean place next door is better tasting. If you need sushi the student union had better service. But if you are ever in the mood for some change and would like to try from a large menu, this is not a bad choice.

Amazing food and great price. Legit the best food choice for quality and quantity on campus. Need to order ahead, you can order online and pay at the venue making it’s every easier order. Also get their hot sauce. It’s worth it
