I decided to revisit India Palace tonight, it has been many moons since I last was here, and Iam left wondering why I waited so long… Everthing was excellent, from the service to the food. I ordered Chicken Nuggets for appetizer, it took about 10 mins after that to get them. They were real chicken too! They came with chili sauce, mint chutney, and tamarind sauce, also they brought me soy sauce on the side like I asked for. I had Chili Chicken with delicious rice for entree, very tasty and well done, about 25 mins give or take after I order, so all went well. Many refills on water and Coke, also had the bread (like Pita), I cant recall what its called, also very good. I left stuffed, not sure others complaining about portion sizes? Will return! No wifi or bike racks, catering and delivery though, outdoor seating when appropriate, rebuild looks fantastic!

Just got a mango lassi. It’s more like mango juice. They tried their best to dilute the lassi. Seems like more water is added. Worst mango lassi I’ve ever tasted.

I’ve been here twice and both times the service was excellent as was the curry. I’m particularly fond of the rice they serve. It’s a thin long grain rice, cooked perfectly of course. As of now this is some of the best Indian food of had in Ames.

Great customer service but the food is really subpar for the price you pay. I ordered lamb curry earlier today and it looked like it came out of canned food container. Perharps I’ll order a different menu item next time and give them another try.

We loved this place! We had the non-vegetarian appetizer plate. It was yumilicious. I had the butter chicken and he had the lamb. It was all great. The servers were fun and friendly. Fast service.

The food is excellent but I am very sad that I can not seem to catch them open as I am in Boone and not Ames. I wish they were open earlier in the evening or for lunch on the weekends. They have a great fish curry and the garlic Naan is the best!
