Adorable, small diner in an old diner/gas station combo site. Right on the main drag headed to the Jersey Shore beaches. This unassuming little place lacks decor but makes it up in spot on diner food. They have short hours, but are definitely worth a visit! We had chipped beef and chicken salad. Both were tasty and fresh even though we arrived minutes from closing time! The perfect hash browns were a pleasant surprise as I’m not overly fond of greasy, mushy or burnt hash browns! The staff was pleasant and gracious even though they were wrapping it up for the day. Stop on by, you’ll be glad you did!

Since this is located in New Jersey, how could it not be a great Diner? The epitome of the Mom and Pop Family Diner, they have a small but varied Menu, an excellent Waitstaff and better Prices than you will find in most other Diners in this part of NJ! Hours are limited, so get there early for a great assortment of Breakfast items or for a nice Lunch meal. We enjoyed Healthy Avocado Toast with less-than-Healthy Tator Tots this afternoon… yummy AND Vegetarian!

We wanted to have an early breakfast, and Marge’s Diner was opened at 7:00 AM.

Small diner so maybe expect a wait for a booth/table. We went on a Sunday morning so it’s to be expected to wait but it wasn’t a long wait and we could’ve sat at the counter immediately so that was our choice. The food was really good. The hungry man special is what I ordered and it was well worth the price. Overall we were all very satisfied. The service was great. The wait for the food was a little longer than expected but no big deal. We will definitely be going back.

Went to Marge’s for breakfast on our way down to Cape May. The place is very small and the booths are tight. Our waitress was very nice and generous. The food was decent, but nothing out of this world; I had two eggs, Italian sausage, and home fries. The eggs were fresh, the sausage was ok, but the home fries weren’t all that good. All and all, a nice little place to stop for a quick and cheap breakfast.

Used to come here as a kid and just went back recently. Such a nostalgic experience. Pancakes are very good and tasted just how I remember growing up. So glad this place is still around! Check them out if you’re in the area

Oh my gosh the smallest little all American breakfast dinner. It was clear the minute we walked in, it was a local favorite. It was packed and everyone saying hi to one another. Even though it was busy it was not noisy at all. Very clean and quaint.

It’s really quite adorable. It’s a bit hard to find depending on what way you are driving. The outside can make someone a bit leery, but the inside is very welcoming. It’s a nice little close nit diner with alot of regulars.

We both had omelets. Everything we asked for was extra. When the omelets arrived, they were very thin, almost like crepes rather than omelets. Ingredients were dumped in the middle, and nothing was extended beyond 50% of the omelet. The booths were hard plastic like you would find in a fast food restaurant, rather uncomfortable. Servers were friendly, food Ingredients were fresh and tasted OK. Not really worth returning for.
