Some damn good barbecue! On my way home to GA from Florida decided to stop at some random place. The barbecue was tinder and tasty, really good. I got the barbecue plate. Definitely a stopping point when I go to Florida.

I wasn’t going to post this because I love their food but the lack of caring and the attitude following was enough for me to let the customers decide. My hot wings appear to be undercooked on the inside. There was blood and even the veins were bright red. When I tried to ensure a manager seen it I was treated like I was just trying to get free food and when I assured them I didn’t want anything other than the acknowledgment I received attitude.

Me and some friends went here on our way home from Florida back to South Carolina. I know what good BBQ tastes like and this was not it. The woman who took our order was extremely rude when answering questions about the menu. We were also very disappointed when receiving our food and seeing barely any BBQ on the sandwich. I have personally never experienced such bad customer service. I highly recommend going to a different restaurant if you want good food and good service.

So. Darn. Delicious! Our family was traveling back from Florida to Missouri and stopped to grab lunch & I’m glad we chose this spot (a gem). A sweet young woman (Savannah) greeted us when we walked in. Their menu was cheap for the portion served . All tables had a hot sauce and BBQ sauce. The restaurant was clean. There were plenty of tables to accommodate the lunch rush. Our kiddos got tenders and fries, my husband got the pork platter, & I got the turkey sandwich. We were all impressed with our food. The ladies working behind the counter were friendly and helpful. This is the kind of spot we need in STL. Way to go Hog Rock! Thank you for the great food and hospitality!!

As the sign says “Home of the five for $5 BBQ sandwiches”. The meat is minced, white slaw is best. The BBQ slaw is tangy and doesn’t price much contrast. I have tried the chopped I think it is, bigger tastier chucks of meat for a reasonable price.

They have good food but VERY BAD customer service!!!! I waited 10 minutes to place my order on my lunch break and not one time did any of the girls say” I will be with you in a minute” so I walked out along with another gentleman that had been waiting longer than me!! They really need to hire more help!

Last time going to hog rock. I love the chef turkey-salads. However several times have the gave me turkey and bbq. Short on lunch time to have to go back I have ate them anyway I started specifying I want all turkey. Today I place my order and say I would like a half turkey only chef salad. I get raw bbq. Not pink this is super red i showed a coworker she was even in discuss. Wish I would have took a picture. Also my egg still had a-lot of shell. I took it back this time tired of order being messed up and doing nothing about it. They lady said it was a smoke ring. Im sorry that was no smoke ring. Them got attitude because I wanted it replaced. I will not go back. Somewhere else will get my business.
