I stopped here for lunch at Noon on a Tuesday and the place was packed. There is not a lot of atmosphere in this place, but it had a lot of tables and could serve a bunch of people.

The food was great. Other than remembering that we can only go on Saturday morning we will be back!

First time at this restaurant. Food and service was excellent. Wait time to receive our food was not. Long wait on a Saturday morning to receive our food. Will come back but not if they are busy. Would recommend.

We had breakfast late this morning. Both of our meals were very good. The service today was really good and the restaurant seemed very clean.

Finally able to eat at the new location and love the available parking in close proximity to the building over the previous location, I’m really pleased that they’re now in an easier to access location, and finally the downtown Columbus area has a great breakfast/lunch diner! I had the Cowboy Platter (I have not, nor will I ever be a cowboy or western icon, but I didn’t think that Bass Reeves would take offense to my ordering it) and itwas delightful. The space has seating for…let me live count chairs without looking creepy…approximately 98 at 9 booths and 18 table clusters in their current set up. Plenty of natural light enters in through windows and doors and I’m really excited by what appears to be a pie case at the entrance.

I got the grilled tenderloin with onion rings. Excellent. On the chalkboard they were having a daily special of Turkey Manhattan and green beans. I will eat in next time and try the Blue Plate Special, whatever it is. It looks like my kind of diner with salt and pepper type of people.

Had lunch there Wednesday, was very disappointed! Waited 30 minutes, wasn’t that busy. Eggs were cold, bacon fatty, hash browns. not even cooked. Corn was not very good and Salisbury steak was more like hamburger steak. Won’t be back.

Darla was an awesome server. Food was great and plenty of it. They were short handed that day but NO ONE lacked being taken care of and with a friendly smile. It was a bit chilly in there but this is Indiana so trying to get comfortable Temps can be challenging. I shoulda brought my sweater.

Very good, affordable food. Sarah (owner) is very friendly and runs a good restaurant, she couldn’t do it without her staff though, either. Good example of working as a team. Chicken sandwich and chicken tenders have a really good, light breading. Daily specials! Only thing they need is gravy for the mashed potatoes 😉 Haven’t tried breakfast yet, but it looks great! Chocolate Chip Cookies are huge and delicious!
