I’m here almost every week! Right off the bat, not a fan of the ramen. Its ok. But the sushi and sashimi selections are what brings it up to 5 stars! The portions are generous, the fish are fresh. The staff are very friendly and their prices are decent for fresh food. They also serve alcohol now and have daily happy hour from 3-6 for food and alcohol as well as 20% off on dinner. Give them a chance. I’m a stone’s throw away and I’m so glad they chose to be in our neighborhood.

Tried a new restaurant and came across Sushiya Ramen. There is lots of parking when you arrive so that’s a nice change for long beach. The restaurant is nice and clean and the service was great. The food was really good and they just received their liquor license so you can enjoy an adult beverage with your meal if you choose to. My favorite was the Garlic Tempura roll…delicious. Closely followed the the sushiya special. We also sampled some warm saki which I’ve never had before but was tasty.

got takeout! staff were nice during pickup, my order was prepared quickly. oysters were kept cold in the fridge for me. there was a small mix up but they fixed it really quickly and we’re nice about it. oysters were delicious!!! nice size and the sauces and toppings were great. and a really good price.

The. Best. Sushi. In Long Beach. Possibly the world? Haha I don’t know, you be the judge. The Dragon rolls are excellent. The Spicy Tina on Crispy Rice, and any of the Crunch rolls are wonderful. I’m a big Uni (sea urchin) fan, and the Uni is always super good here. If you sit at the sushi bar, Danny the sushi chef is a nice guy. 5-stars from me!

Food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We ordered the Chirashi Bowl, Baked Lobster Roll, Tuna and Salmon Sushi, and a ramen to top it off. Highly recommended checking them out!!

Phoned in a 3 item combo.Sat down and decided to eat there only to be told that there was no dining inside. Turn around and saw two other people in the back waiting for food! This place is very racist. The lady told me that because I called on the phone to order that was considered take out and when you order take out you can not eat in their restaurant you can only take food to go!! But they’re our no signs any where saying this! Not the way to open a business. I had been coming here since they opened I will never patronize this restaurant ever again!!

Absolutely excellent sushi! Don’t let the stripmall environment bug you. The staff are wonderful pleasant, funny. The overall experience is just great and the sushi chef is knowledgeable and friendly. There are great specials and there is great $ value for the high quality they offer.

I’m no expert, but their miso soup was the best I’ve ever had!! Delicious!It had a homemade, earthy flavor that had me ordering another one. The food quality was great as well as the quantity. The prices were reasonable. I asked one of the staff members why it wasn’t packed, she stated they are only 6 months old. Well, damn! Their food was good!!
