We were looking for an authentic, hole in the wall, great food experience and voila! Wet Burrito was the answer. Knocked one star off for atmosphere because when the temperature rose we started to sweat out on their patio due to minimal air movement. Would eat here again, though, and highly recommend to others wanting to try something off the beaten path!

The food was amazing and I really enjoyed the ambiance while I waited for my order. The lady that took my order was very sweet with a great attitude. The only reason for my 4 stars that I would have gave them 5, except I ordered no beans with my salad and when I got home, guess what I had with my salad? That’s right, beans lol. And I wasn’t about to drive all the way back. Luckily they were black beans and so I picked them out

The food was great – it’s nice to have San Diego style burritos available with the French fries inside! Quick service, good food, and nice outdoor patio to eat and enjoy the beautiful summer weather! Next time I’ll get the carne asada fríes – one of my favorites!

Everything about this place screams California Burrito in a way that makes sense if you are familiar with the area. The bad news is, if you’re a local, you also know how steep competition is in the “best” burrito category.

Loved the wet burritos here and especially the non-spicy tomatillo sauce. The portion size is huge! I saved half of mine for the next day. They have quite some options on the menu you can customize to how you want such as type of meat and which sauce you’d like. Didn’t know there are half/half sauce options but would be down to try some of the others. The chips were also made fresh when we got our order and were so addictive!

First time here but not the last. Saw they had several veg items so had to try. The veg magic burrito was incredible. The grilled veggies are actually grilled with some great char flavor. Well done. The green salsa that came with was 100% yum. Spicy! The chips were great yet the salsa that came with was more sauce like meaning no heat. The tacos were fine and the carro it’s burrito was super good. The burritos were much larger than I expected. Did not leave hungry.

Really good hole-in-the-wall burrito joint. I’m vegetarian, so I can’t speak to how the meat options taste but their “magic veggie” burrito is delicious! Has beans, rice, cheese, grilled veggies, sauce, sour cream, and French fries (I’m forgetting what else is in it). Yes, that is not a typo… They put French fries in the burrito and it is great! Always good eats and friendly service. The same two guys are there 90% of the time and will get to know your name and order if you go enough. Don’t hesitate to try this place. Only downside is the inside seating is very limited, but if the weather is nice, there is plenty of seating outside. (If this review was helpful, please hit the like button below)

The California burrito is the zenith of Mexican cuisine as far as I’m concerned, so a place that specializes in them is worth its weight in gold.

I didn’t know what to expect when we ordered the California burrito, but it looked amazing, was huge and was tasty and fresh! When I ordered mine, I didn’t know what sauce I wanted, and the clerk at the register got a tortilla chip and put different sauces on it for me to try. I got the diablo sauce. But they all were good and tasted very different. Our burritos came out so beautifully. And they were stuffed full. I enjoyed eating mine. The diablo sauce was hot but the good kind of hot where you could still taste everything. I also got their watermelon juice. I would come again and I recommend this place!

Welcoming place with a lovely patio and friendly service. The orange sauce (chipotle) for the wet burrito was spicy, smooth, and on the whole excellent. Feeling decadent? Try the El Jeefe Sooey fries. A pile of french fries with your choice of meat. Laced with cheese, garnished with sour cream, and served with a side of hot green sauce. The Margherita was much too sweet and I would not recommend it. Parking was relatively easy to find.
