Atmosphere is so warm and cozy it feels like home. The people are friendly and the food is like no other. The combination of unique food choices (Mac and cheese, pulled pork, bbq sauce rolled in a burrito) greens, baked beans, coleslaw, corn pudding, banana pudding who could ask for anything more. I like that I could dine in or choose to take home. Quick convenient and I saw the owner preparing the meat on the smoker as I was leaving. Family owned business. I’ll definitely be back.

Always amazing. The staff are very attentive and nice. The food is insanely good! I tried the corn pudding today and it was better than my grandma’s! I could seriously eat here every day and since it’s within walking distance from my house, that is definitely an option. The prices are really affordable, and the restaurant looks really clean both inside and out.

Greens were outstanding! Street tacos were really good. Pork was sweet, with slaw on top-nod to Memphis bbq. Chicken taco was not as sweet, but favored over pork. Both were quite tasty. Mac and cheese was ok. Service was amazing and so gracious. Great family owned start-up business. If you are coming from the south side, come in on Locust to 19th. Will try the ribs next time.

I always try to support new businesses.I look forward to enjoying a new GrillMaster’s skill! So…needless to say how disappointed I was not to taste any rubs on the meat or smoke taste. It was drowned in BBQ sauce with little flavor, as if store brought not original I order a large Rib Tip dinner and slice of cake which did not taste homemade. The cold slaw was soupy and bake beans were tolerable! Very disappointed in the flavor department. Customer service was great. Due to flavor and presentation, I will not return or recommend!

Great owners! Relaxing atmosphere! Delicious food! The corn pudding is a must try. Kids give the chicken sandwich and mac-cheese two thumbs up saying it’s the best in town. We will definitely be back!

Such nice, friendly, responsive service from Rodney for an event they catered for our family during a busy weekend for this business. Everyone enjoyed the bbq, sides and delicious banana pudding for dessert. The food was fresh, hot, and reasonably priced. Butta’s Better BBQ is family owned and operated. When I stopped by today the father, mother and son were all working hard to ensure customers were having a wonderful culinary experience. They have a large menu with an assortment of BBQ sandwiches, wraps and ribs along with lots of yummy sides and deserts. I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich on a Brioche bun and Potato Salad side. The service was spectacular and food super delicious. I highly recommend Butta’s to anyone hankering for some excellent BBQ!!!
