So many options to choose from on their extensive menu! Traveling along I-16, but was in a hurry to get to my destination so this was a great place for a healthy alternative to fast food. The Valentine Sushi Roll and Miso Soup were both so yummy. Dining in took about 20 minutes.

Needed to kill some time while waiting on Walgreens to fill a prescription across the road so figured I’d try them out since the one in Statesboro is always super good. The food was indeed very good, however, the service was not. There were 2 ladies working when I was there and one was nice but the other lady was not. I asked for a lid for my soup since they had put it in a to-go bowl and also for a to-go box for the rest of my meal. She handed me the lid and tried to start back at what she was working on so I asked again for a box. She turned around to get the box muttering something and then just slammed it on the counter. I get people have off/bad days but still.. There was also what looked to be a roach on one of the walls that I unfortunately didn’t notice until I was leaving. Again, food was great but that’s all.

I spent 42 bucks at this place. Ordered online went to pick it up the lady would not even open the drive thru window to ask me what i needed was talking through a glass window when i told her I could not hear her a young girl then came to window snatched it open and held my order ticket out the window and ask was this mine? Yes so then i ask for extra soy sauce and they gave me none so i went back to window again and ask could i get some soysauce 3 packs total for a 42 buck order never ever again

Staff was indifferent and difficult to understand. The food was sub par. No beer or wine only bottled soda etc. Bathrooms were dirty and no soap or paper towels in the men’s restroom. We won’t be back. No photos are warranted.

Food tasted “off”. The steak was incredibly dry and the shrimp smelled fishy. One person in our party ate it anyway (adult who chose to) & spent the rest of the evening in the restroom. Not sure what their doing to the food but next time I’ll pass.

Don’t be fooled by the small location or poor decor, this is a top notch Japanese style restaurant. The hibachi plates are great; they will actually cook your beef to order, the vegetables are not overdone, and the rice doesn’t need a vat of yum-yum sauce to be edible. The sushi, while not spectacular, is good and neat, and for $4 a roll way better than some places charging double that. Service is very quick for made to order, and the servers are nice. Can’t believe this place isn’t slammed from open to close.
