Really a miss. I’ve been to authentic UNO’s in Chicago and this is not it, not even close. We tried walking in on a Saturday night and were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait due to short staffed though the restaurant was sparsely populated. We decided to order to go as we were staying at the hotel. Pizza didn’t have any sauce and was dry, ordered red pepper and got green. Salad didn’t have any dressing. The staff were friendly but service wasn’t good.

Newer location in Winchester, Virginia! Food was good, but pricey for a pizza in Winchester. Our order was a tad off, but once again new place and not much help.

Yay! So glad they brought an UNO’s to Winchester. I love deep dish pizza, and was thrilled when this place opened – the only deep dish pizza joint around for miles. Still the same great taste. Service was pretty good. A bit cold and small inside. The outdoor seating is lovely. They are still working g out the kinks with the app, but it is definitely timely improving!

Best dam deep dish I’ve had in a long time. They are unfortunately short staffed like most, so we sat at the bar. Our bartender was sweet and helpful. Pizza took forever but was worth it. Hopefully, once they have help, the service will pick up. Look forward to this place in the future.

The pizza was below average and crazy expensive for a “take out” pizza. The interior of the place is left over from the previous restaurant so not to inviting. There was plenty of staff all standing around in back so not sure why they claim to be short staffed. And, they got a two pizza order wrong.

We just had a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. We came in at 9:00 but were absolutely not rushed and made to feel extremely welcome by the staff, which started with the hostess. In short, we didn’t just get the best service we’ve ever received in Winchester; we got the best service we’ve ever received, period, which is highly impressive at this affordable price point. Our waiter, Stephen was absolutely exceptional. He was knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendation for the lemon vinaigrette was well received. Best garlic bread I have ever had for the appetizer. For the entree, on our first time, we figured we would stick to what made them famous and go for “The Uno”-a Chicago style pie with plenty of goodies on top. The sauce was so awesome, I could have drank a mason jar of it, ha ha. They executed well on their flagship entree; it did not disappoint. The menu was pretty big, so there’s plenty for us to go back for, and we will. Our visit concluded with Walter asking if we enjoyed our experience. It was important to him to offer his business card and let us know to always feel free to call him if we’re in on a busy night and he’ll make sure we get a table. I was so totally impressed by that personal touch at the end of what was already a first class, five-star experience. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner, and I could not have made a finer choice for where to take her. We never got to try George’s, which is what used to be in this space on the ground level of the Wyndham Grand George Washington Hotel in Winchester, but whatever it was could not possibly have been better than what’s there now. Bravo, and hats off to the entire service team from the hostess to Stephen and Walter, and also to the kitchen staff for an excellent meal with five star service at a value that anyone would appreciate. Wow. Go try it that’s all we can say! -Eric & Liz

I can’t say anything about the food, as I didn’t dine here. Im not sure if I ever will after being “scolded” twice within five minutes for walking through the main entrance to pick up a to go order. Upon walking up to the entrance of Uno’s, which is located under the George Washington Hotel, there appears to be only one entrance from the street. If Management doesn’t want Doordash, Ubereats or Grub Hub to be seen walking through their main door, then either have a sign stating where food deliveries are to be picked up or discontinue using online ordering. I didn’t appreciate being made to feel as if I was doing something wrong by picking up an order, just by walking through the main door. I’m leaving this review on the “hospitality”, and the way I was made to feel. I definitely didn’t feel welcome. I was almost most made to feel “trashy”, because I’m a delivery driver, (my second job), and shouldn’t be seen coming through the main door. (Just because you’re located within the George Washington Hotel, doesnt make your restaurant that “high class”. I’ve actually stayed in the Hotel multiple times, but this experience has discouraged me from being a future diner.)

We ordered two large for a family gathering. The girl taking the order was hard to understand and she was abrupt. The pizzas were nothing that we ordered and cost over $60. It was a complete rip off.
