Brisket was melt in your mouth good…. Pulled pork was flavorful… sausage had a pepperoni type flavor, never experienced that in my life – awesomeness… the beans had a deep smoke flavor …. Mac and cheese was creamy and full of flavor.… cornbread was plain, but a little bit of butter went a long way…

Went the other night for the first time. Was really looking forward to it, had been wanting to try it out for over a year. I got the 2-meat combo with brisket and ribs, for $28. It’s pretty much what I get at every BBQ place. What I was given was a joke. The ribs I got were small end pieces that were tough and dry, pretty much impossible to chew. The waitress was nice though and saw what I got and came back with 3 regular size ribs. They were okay, but definitely lacked the smoky bbq flavor you would expect. The kicker was they only gave me one small piece of brisket. It honestly wasn’t much bigger than a credit card. Really? ONE very small piece?? Were they running out or something?? So for the 2-meat combo, for $28, I received a few small tough ribs and ONE small slice of brisket. I will say the creamed corn was outstanding as was the cornbread and butter. My wife got the Tex Mex bowl and she said it was really good. Atmosphere was cool. There was a guy playing guitar, which was perfect background music. I went there for the ribs and brisket though and unfortunately, it fell way short.

Really wanted to like this a lot more than I actually did. My wife and I both got the 2 meats & 2 sides plate. The meat (brisket and pulled pork) was very dry and somewhat tasteless which was very disappointing, considering how much it costs. As a consolation prize, the mac & cheese was super good.

This place has really come a long way from first opening. Food is excellent! Service (delivery) has always been packaged well and hot when arrives. Grilled cornbread is a favorite and the tacos are fantastic!

I use door dash regularly and I’ve had Shane’s 2 x…. OUTSTANDING beans, cornbread, chicken, salad was green and crunchy. I absolutely endorse this food and it will be regularly craved. On Thursday night I didn’t receive my children’s mac and cheese with my door dash order. I RE ordered, so that means another tip…I thought the Mac and cheese was forgotten…this can happen with DD. I called the store and on the other end of the phone was a very rude, crass women who honestly didn’t care and told me it was door dash cause they were out of Mac & Cheese, I get it, but she could have told the DD person it was out and they usually offer an alternative. I wouldn’t have spent the money sending a second door dasher if the Shane’s employee communicated this to the dasher…like they do in other establishments. I reached out to the second dasher and asked if she would ask for replacement items and they did give us an alternative which I was happy with. I’d go here again for sure! Just gotta grit your teeth and know the lady there is grumpy

Hands down the worst BBQ place I’ve ever been & top 5 worst restaurants experience I’ve had. The service was below average, we had the nachos as an appetizer which was basically cheese on chips (really? For a $15 nacho) & they served our meals within 2 minutes of receiving the appetizer. The brisque was ok but drier than it should, the pulled pork & pulled chicken were dry & flavourless, the sausage was good & the ribs were tasteless, the mac & choose was horrible but the corn bread with the sweet butter was pretty good. Overall extremely disappointed for a place like this, especially at that price point.

The service was absolutely terrible with the server we had. We never got checked on. We had to flag another girl down to help us out more than once. The food is just okay. The potato salad is wonderful though and I’m picky about that but I used to live in Texas and this is not anywhere close to Texas Cue.. I’ve never gotten baby back ribs and better yet really small ribs at any Texas BBQ place I’ve been to. And I’ve been to many top rated places. I paid $30 for this plate.

Feels like stepping in an Austin Bar/ bbq joint. Got say down right away, place not too busy on. Friday night. Got drinks right away, didn’t even get time to check the drink menu!! The girl, who will remain nameless took our order but didn’t write it down. After what it felt too long, we got someone else’s order. She quickly fixed it. Sadly the pulled pork sandwich was barely warm. The brisket was delicious. We wish we had a different service experience but for now, it’s not worth the 35 minute drive each way. Sorry. The other tables that got the guy server were having what it seems a better time…. oh well

Ate outside and it was the best!! Had a great day at the beach and ended here at Shane’s BBQ. We stop here every time we come to Hampton Beach. Food is 10s across the board.
